Nigeria is a country rich in diverse cultures. To be honest, even as a Nigerian I still get thrilled coming across some of my cultural heritage. This is why if I am to plan a trip for @kerrislravenhill to my home country, there are three states I would like you to visit in Nigeria, and I am sure that after visiting these states you would not want to go back home hehe. These are not just mere words, a lot of foreigners like to come and visit these states in Nigeria and when they do, they often love to relive the moments.

The first is the current city where I am based, the city of port harcourt. I would really like you to come and have a taste of some of the local dishes in this part of the world and attend our boli festival which is a festival of roasted plantain and all kinds of fish. Well I do not know if you are a foodie, but even if you are not, you will certainly enjoy the performances from the festival. If you are coming during the festive season, it will be more fun as there will be a lot of cultural displays and a lot of festivals to look forward to.
The next place I will be taking you will be the ancient city of Edo state. From the name you know it is rich in a lot of cultural knowledge and if you want to learn about African culture, that will be a great place to start. I am very sure if you go there you will be so fascinated that there will be a lot of things to write about that place. The third will be Akwa Ibom State. When it comes to African delicacies, they have got it, in dressing, you will be blown away, and I have not seen any tribe in Nigeria that beats them in terms of festivals. Maybe Calabar comes close, but that’s all. By the end of the day, I am sure you will be blown away by the things you will see and enjoy here.
