MakerDAO changes name to Sky and rebrands DAI too
Crypto is a fast-moving space and we often see some dynamic changes and rebranding also. MakerDAO is a leading defi lending ecosystem and now they have rebranded themselves to Sky. They have also rebranded their stablecoin from DAI to USDS and this name sounds better as it represents USD. USDS is a USD-backed stablecoin that will be available on 18th September. All other functions will remain the same except the name change.
Nigeria’s SEC has taken a positive by issuing the first license to one of the crypto exchanges called Quidax and which is an Africa-based crypto exchange. Many countries are working on the crypto regulations and Nigeria has taken the lead which is good for them as well as the crypto segment. Now people over there would be able to invest in crypto with ease and with this we might see more exchanges coming in Nigeria.
Nvidia is a popular technology company and the recent growth of this company is significant. Its a clear example of a long-term and continuous building approach. The company was started 3 decades back but the last few years have been great in terms of the company growth and this sets up a great example.
