Have you ever looked at an old picture of yourself and thought, “Wow, I have really changed”? I have. And I don't mean only the physical changes. Sometimes I look back at the way I used to think, the things I worried about, and the way I reacted to certain situations, and I realize that I am not the same person anymore.

People change as they grow because life changes them. As we get older, we experience new situations, meet different people, face challenges, make mistakes, and learn lessons that the way we think and behave. The person we are today is often very different from the person we were a few years ago. In my opinion, changing is a natural and necessary part of growing as a human being.

I think people change as they grow because life keeps teaching us lessons. When we are younger, we often think we know what life is all about. We make plans and expect things to go the way we want. But as we grow older, we start to understand that life doesn't always follow our plans.

Some of the biggest changes in a person can come from difficult experiences. Failure, disappointment, losing someone, being rejected, or simply going through a difficult period can change the way we look at things. These experiences are not always easy, but they can teach us things that we probably wouldn't learn otherwise.

One thing that has changed the way I see life is realizing that I cannot control everything. There was a time when I would spend a lot of time worrying about things that had not even happened. I would think about what could go wrong and sometimes forget to enjoy what was happening in the present. As I have grown, I have started to understand that some things are simply beyond my control. I still worry sometimes, of course. I am human. But I have learned to take things one day at a time.

Another thing that has changed me is meeting different people. Every person we meet leaves something behind, even if we don't realize it immediately. Some people teach us kindness, others teach us patience, some relationships teach us what we should appreciate, while others teach us what we should never accept again. I think all of these experiences become part of who we are.

But does growing older automatically make us better people? I don't think so. Getting older and growing as a person are two different things. Someone can become older without becoming wiser, what really matters is whether we are willing to learn from our experiences.

For me, becoming a better version of myself doesn't mean becoming perfect. I don't think anyone is perfect, it simply means trying to understand myself better, admitting when I am wrong, learning from my mistakes, and treating people with more understanding than I did before.

Sometimes change can be uncomfortable because we have to leave behind parts of ourselves that we have known for a long time. But I believe change is necessary, if we never changed, we would never learn, improve, or discover what we are truly capable of.

So, why do people change as they grow? I believe it is because life changes us. Every experience adds something to our story, some experiences make us stronger, some make us softer, and some simply make us see things differently.

Maybe growing up is not about becoming a completely different person. Maybe it is about becoming more comfortable with who we are while continuing to work on who we want to become. And honestly, I think that is one of the most beautiful parts of growing.

Thanks for checking on my blog and have a wonderful day
