My Card Collection Optimization: I Sell Byzantine Kitty and Elias Max Pruitt to upgrade IZIAR and to buy other cards!
I play on Splinterlands since September 2019 so I have been playing battles and having fun on Splinterlands for more than 5 years.
In five years I have played more than 31000 battles and I have never used bots.
I like to play manually and for that reason I like to play only in the Modern Format because:

it is the only format in which there are no bots.
-
it is the only format where I can only play with real players like me.
Since the beginning of my adventure on Splinterlands I have always played primarily the role of the player and for this reason I have never been a card collector.
A card that I do not use in battle has no value to me and I can sell it to buy a card that I can use in battle.
When bots were banned in Modern Format I immediately chose to play only in Modern Format and to focus only on cards that could be used in Modern Format and because of that I sold many of my Beta cards.
I did the same when the Untamed cards came out of the Modern Format.
A big mistake I made was not selling Byzantine Kitty before its value declined and when Untamed cards came out of the Modern Format.
I did not sell Byzantine Kitty for two reasons:
- I was too fond of this card because I wanted it so much before I bought it and then, after I bought it, I used it many times in battle.
- I always harbored the hope that bots would be eliminated from Wild Format as well.
But mistakes will teach me and as long as there are bots in the Wild Format I will sell all the cards that can be used in this format.
Today I put level 3 Byzantine Kitty back on sale at the lowest price per BCX on the market.
If I successfully sell Byzantine Kitty I will use the earnings in this way:
- 50% to buy cards useful in battle in Modern Format
- 50% to make Hive Power Up.
Today I also put 1 BCX of Elias Max Pruitt up for sale.
I like all the summoners distributed through Rebellion Conflicts but at level 1 they would not be useful for me because I have 23 common cards, 30 rare cards, 14 epic cards + 25 monster type legendary cards at the highest level that I could not use to their full potential with a level 1 summoner.
For this reason, I would hardly use level 1 Elias Max Pruitt in place of one of my 13 maximum level summoners, so I prefer to sell it to buy other cards.
I also recently sold two other level 1 summoner cards, and with the profit I made I can buy or upgrade other cards.
My next upgrade goal is Iziar, a legendary reward card of the Chaos Legion set.
Iziar is a card I really like because it has a combination of abilities that no other card has: Taunt + Void + Martyr
Iziar has a good number of life points but also has a very high mana cost that restricts the use of this card to High mana battles.
I like Level 3 Iziar because it would expand my strategic choices and I already have some card combinations in mind that I would like to use with Iziar.
In my card collection I have 2 BCX of Iziar but the lowest level I am interested in is level 3 which is the level in which Iziar acquires the Martyr ability.
The person who put Iziar up for sale spent 5500 DEC per BCX = $3.93 to perform the unbind operation.
In order to purchase 4 BCX of Iziar, I chose to make a BID purchase offer via the Make Bid feature of Peakmonsters by outbidding the best purchase offer on the market.
If no vendor accepts my bid to purchase I will raise the value of my bid at regular intervals until I have reached my upgrade goal related to Iziar.
Today I also chose another upgrade goal:
- Junker: level 6 -> level 10 (max level).
I chose this upgrade because I like to use Junker in the second position in battles that have the Shades of gray (Only neutral units may be used) ruleset and in combination with Arkemis The Bear in the first position.
The Protect ability of Arkemis The Bear and the Repair ability of Junker play well together especially when used in combination with the summoner Grandmaster Rathe who adds the Shield ability to all cards he summons.

I also chose this upgrade because among the cards that can be used in the Modern Format there are only four neutral cards that have the Repair ability and Junker is the card that has the lowest cost per BCX.
To purchase 300 BCX of Junker I chose to make a BID purchase offer.
If my offer is accepted I will spend $18 but I will have one of only four neutral cards with the Repair ability that can be used in Modern Format and one of only two cards that have the Repair ability and have attack points.

L'ottimizzazione della mia collezione di carte: vendo Byzantine Kitty per per acquistare altre carte utilizzabili nel Modern Format
Gioco su Splinterlands dal settembre 2019 e quindi sono più di 5 anni che gioco battaglie e mi diverto su Splinterlands.
In cinque anni ho giocato più di 31000 battaglie e non ho mai usato bots.
Mi piace giocare manualmente e per questo motivo mi piace giocare solo nel Modern Format perchè:

è l'unico formato in cui non ci sono bots

è l'unico formato in cui posso giocare solo con giocatori reali come me.
Fin dall'inizio della mia avventura su Splinterlands ho sempre rivestito principalmente il ruolo del giocatore e per questo motivo non sono mai stato un collezionista di carte.
Una carta che non utilizzo in battaglia non ha valore per me e posso venderla per acquistare una carta che posso utilizzare in battaglia.
Quando i bots sono stati bannati nel Modern Format ho scelto immediatamente di giocare solo nel Modern Format e di focalizzarmi solo sulle carte utilizzabili nel Modern Format e per questo motivo ho venduto molte mie carte Beta.
Ho fatto lo stesso quando le carte Untamed sono uscite dal Modern Format.
Un mio grande errore è stato non vendere Byzantine Kitty prima che il suo valore crollasse e quando le carte Untamed sono uscite dal Modern Format.
Non ho venduto Byzantine Kitty per due motivi:
- ero troppo affezionato a questa carta perchè l'ho tanto desiderata prima di acquistarla e poi, dopo averla acquistata, l'ho utilizzata tante volte in battaglia.
- ho sempre nutrito la speranza che i bots sarebbero stati eliminati anche dal Wild Format
Ma sbagliando si impara e fin quando ci saranno i bots nel Wild Format venderò tutte le carte utilizzabili in questo formato.
Oggi ho rimesso in vendita Byzantine Kitty di livello 3 al prezzo per BCX più basso sul mercato.
Se riuscirò a vendere Byzantine Kitty utilizzerò il guadagno in questo modo:
- 50% per acquistare carte utili in battaglia nel Modern Format
- 50% per fare Hive Power Up
Oggi ho messo in vendita anche 1 BCX di Elias Max Pruitt
Mi piacciono tutti gli evocatori distribuiti tramite i Rebellion Conflicts ma al livello 1 non sarebbero utili per me perchè ho 23 carte comuni, 30 carte rare, 14 carte epiche + 25 carte leggendarie di tipo mostro al massimo livello che non potrei utilizzare al loro massimo potenziale con un evocatore di livello 1.
Per questo motivo difficilmente userei Elias Max Pruitt di livello 1 al posto di uno dei miei 13 evocatori di massimo livello e quindi preferisco venderlo per acquistare altre carte.
Di recente ho venduto anche altre due carte evocatore di livello 1 e con il guadagno che ho ottenuto posso acquistare o fare l'upgrade di altre carte.
Il mio prossimo obiettivo di upgrade è Iziar, carta reward leggendaria del set Chaos Legion.
Iziar è una carta che mi piace molto perchè ha una combinazione di abilità che nessuna altra carta ha: Taunt + Void + Martyr
Iziar ha un buon numero di punti vita ma ha anche un costo in mana molto alto che restringe l'uso di questa carta alle High mana battles.
Iziar di livello 3 mi piace perchè amplierebbe le mie scelte strategiche e ho già in mente alcune combinazioni di carte che mi piacerebbe usare con Iziar.
Nella mia collezione di carte ho 2 BCX di Iziar ma il livello minimo a cui sono interessato è il livello 3 che è il livello nel quale Iziar acquisisce l'abilità Martyr.
Chi ha messo in vendita Iziar ha speso 5500 DEC per BCX = 3.93$ per effettuare l'operazione di unbind.
Per acquistare 4 BCX di Iziar ho scelto di effettuare un offerta di acquisto BID tramite la funzionalità Make Bid di Peakmonsters superando la migliore offerta di acquisto presente sul mercato.
Se nessun venditore accetterà la mia offerta di acquisto alzerò il valore della mia offerta ad intervalli di tempo regolari fin quando non avrò raggiunto il mio obiettivo di upgrade relativo a Iziar.
Oggi ho scelto anche un altro obiettivo di upgrade:
- Junker: level 6 -> level 10 (max level)
Ho scelto questo upgrade perchè mi piace usare Junker in seconda posizione nelle battaglie che hanno la ruleset Shades of gray (Only neutral units may be used) e in combinazione con Arkemis The Bear in prima posizione.
L'abilità Protect di Arkemis The Bear e l'abilità Repair di Junker giocano bene insieme soprattutto se usate in combinazione con l'evocatore Grandmaster Rathe che aggiunge l'abilità Shield a tutte le carte da lui evocate.

Ho scelto questo upgrade anche perchè tra le carte utilizzabili nel Modern Format ci sono solo quattro carte neutrali che hanno l'abilità Repair e Junker è la carta che ha un costo per BCX più basso.
Per acquistare 300 BCX di Junker ho scelto di effettuare un'offerta di acquisto BID.
Se la mia offerta sarà accettata spenderò 18$ ma avrò una delle sole quattro carte neutrali con l'abilità Repair utilizzabili nel Modern Format e una delle sole due carte che hanno l'abilità Repair e hanno punti di attacco.
