My Card Collection Optimization: Selling my Beta and Untamed Summoners to Buy Akane
On Splinterlands the season 130 is underway, which is the first season in which the new Ranked System was introduced.
With the introduction of the new Ranked System my upgrade goals have changed mainly due to the removal of card level league caps.
Before the introduction of the new Ranked System I used to choose cards to buy/upgrade based on the league I played in because cards could only be used up to a specific level in leagues below Champion leagues.
For example in the old ranked system a strong and useful card like Doctor Blight was less useful in Bronze league but became almost a must have in Gold and Diamond+ leagues.

What I just wrote is also validated by the ratings on the Splinterguide site, which assigns a different rating to Doctor Blight based on the level and league in which it is used.

Now there is no longer this distinction because in every league you can use Doctor Blight at maximum level which is now and in my opinion one of the strongest and most versatile cards that can be used in Modern Format and Wild Format battles.
In the new ranked system having maximum level cards has become important for all players regardless of league and at the same time it has become much more important to have maximum level summoners in order to use the maximum potential of maximum level cards.
I play in the Modern Format because it is the only format that does not allow bots and I like to play against real players and not against bots.
In my Chaos Legion + Riftwatchers + Rebellion collection I have 79 maximum level monster cards but I only have 6 maximum level summoners that allow me to use the maximum stats of my maximum level cards in Modern Format battles.
I would like to increase the number of maximum level summoners at my disposal, and today I chose what will be my next main goal: Akane
In my opinion Akane is the summoner that would increase my range of usable strategic choices in the game more than any other summoner because it would give me the ability to choose two cards to be assigned the Ambush ability, and my two chosen cards would attack first before the battle begins.
In addition, by the way, the choice of the two cards to be assigned the Ambush ability is made after looking at the opponent's cards, and this is an additional advantage offered by Akane.
Akane is also one of the two summoners that can be used in the Modern Format that has the highest rating score assigned by Splinterguide. The other summoner is Lux Vega.
I only have 1 BCX of Akane in my collection that I found inside 1 Rebellion pack and to obtain Akane of maximum level I have to buy 10 more BCX which is equivalent to spending $204

If I were to buy Akane right away I would be better off buying 1 maximum level card (11 BCX) which has the same cost as buying 10 BCX = $204 and selling the single BCX I have for $19.
I will not make this purchase today because I have decided to buy Akane with the profit I will get from selling my Beta and Untamed summoners which I no longer use in battle because in the modern format they cannot be used.
In the image below you can see all the Beta and Untamed summoners that I have in my collection.
Since I have been playing in the Modern Format, I have used these summoners to earn DEC from rentals and some I have used as worker cards in my land plots.
Until now, I have chosen not to sell my Beta and Untamed summoners because I was hoping that bots would be eliminated from the Wild Format as well, and then I could choose to go back to playing in the Wild where there are many more cards that can be chosen.
The elimination of bots in the Wild Format does not seem to be a short-term goal for the Splinterlands team and most SPS stakeholders and for this reason I have decided to sell all of my Beta and Untamed summoners except Byzantine Kitty to whom I am fondly attached because it was the summoner I most wanted when I played in the Wild Format and because it is still one of the strongest and most versatile summoners and has the best chance of being in demand in the rental market.
All I would need is to be able to sell Delwyn Dragonscale level 9 at the lowest price per BCX on the market today to earn $197.64 (-6% market fees) which is almost the amount I need to buy Akane of maximum level.
I really like the new Ranked System because it has simplified the game dynamics and because it gives an incentive to increase the level of one's cards, and in fact it is thanks to this incentive that I have accelerated my activity of optimizing my collection!

L'ottimizzazione della mia collezione di carte: Vendo i miei evocatori Beta per comprare Akane!
Su Splinterlands è in corso la stagione 130 che è la prima stagione in cui è stato introdotto il nuovo Ranked System.
Con l'introduzione del nuovo Ranked System i miei obiettivi di upgrade sono cambiati soprattutto per effetto della rimozione del card level league caps.
Prima dell'introduzione del nuovo Ranked System sceglievo le carte da acquistare/upgradare in base alla lega in cui giocavo perchè le carte potevano essere utilizzate solo fino ad un preciso livello nelle leghe inferiori alle leghe Champion.
Ad esempio nel vecchio ranked system una carta forte e utile come Doctor Blight era meno utile in lega Bronze ma diventava quasi un must da avere nelle leghe Gold e Diamond+.

Quello che ho appena scritto è validato anche dalle valutazioni del sito Splinterguide che assegna un rating diverso a Doctor Blight in base al livello e alla lega in cui viene utilizzato.

Adesso non c'è più questa distinzione perchè in ogni lega è possibile utilizzare Doctor Blight di livello massimo che è adesso e secondo me una delle carte più forti e versatili utilizzabili nelle battaglie del Modern Format e del Wild Format.
Nel nuovo ranked system avere carte di livello massimo è diventato importante per tutti i giocatori senza distinzione di leghe e allo stesso tempo è diventato molto più importante avere evocatori di livello massimo per poter utilizzare il massimo potenziale delle carte di livello massimo.
Io gioco nel Modern Format perchè è l'unico formato che non ammette i bots e a me piace giocare contro i giocatori reali e non contro i bots.
Nella mia collezione Chaos Legion + Riftwatchers + Rebellion ho 79 carte mostro di livello massimo ma ho solo 6 evocatori di livello massimo che mi permettono di utilizzare le statistiche massime delle mie carte di massimo livello nelle battaglie del Modern Format.
Mi piacerebbe aumentare il numero di evocatori di massimo livello a mia disposizione e oggi ho scelto qual'e sarà il mio prossimo obiettivo principale: Akane
Secondo me Akane è l'evocatore che più di tutti gli altri evocatori aumenterebbe il mio ventaglio di scelte strategiche utilizzabili in gioco perchè mi darebbe la possibilità di scegliere due carte a cui assegnare l'abilità Ambush e le mie due carte scelte attaccherebbero per prime prima che la battaglia inizi.
Tra l'altro la scelta delle due carte a cui assegnare l'abilità Ambush viene fatta dopo aver guardato le carte avversarie e questo è un ulteriore vantaggio offerto da Akane.
Akane è anche uno dei due evocatori utilizzabili nel Modern Format che ha il punteggio di rating massimo assegnato da Splinterguide. L'altro evocatore è Lux Vega.
Nella mia collezione ho solo 1 BCX di Akane che ho trovato all'interno di 1 pacco Rebellion e per avere Akane di livello massimo devo acquistare altri 10 BCX che equivale a spendere 204$
Se dovessi acquistare subito Akane mi converrebbe acquistare 1 carta di livello massimo (11 BCX) che ha lo stesso costo di acquistare 10 BCX = 204$ e vendere il singolo BCX che ho a 19$.
Non farò questo acquisto oggi perchè ho deciso di acquistare Akane con il guadagno che otterrò dalla vendita dei miei evocatori Beta e Untamed che non utilizzo più in battaglia perchè nel modern format non possono essere utilizzati.
Nell'immagine seguente puoi vedere tutti gli evocatori Beta e Untamed che ho nella mia collezione.
Da quando gioco nel Modern Format ho utilizzato questi evocatori per guadagnare DEC dal noleggio e alcuni li ho utilizzati come worker cards nei miei land plots.
Fino ad oggi ho scelto di non vendere i miei evocatori Beta e Untamed perchè speravo che i bots venissero eliminati anche dal Wild Format e in quel caso avrei potuto scegliere di tornare a giocare nel Wild dove le carte sceglibili sono molte di più.
L'eliminazione dei bots nel Wild Format non sembra essere un obiettivo di breve termine per il team di Splinterlands e per la maggior parte degli SPS stakeholders e per questo motivo ho deciso di vendere tutti i miei evocatori Beta e Untamed tranne Byzantine Kitty a cui sono legato affettivamente perchè è stato l'evocatore che ho più desiderato quando giocavo nel Wild Format e perchè è ancora oggi uno degli evocatori più forti e versatili e ha più chances di essere richiesto nel mercato del noleggio.
Mi basterebbe riuscire a vendere Delwyn Dragonscale di livello 9 al prezzo più basso per BCX presente sul mercato oggi per guadagnare 197.64$ (-6% market fees) che è quasi l'importo che mi serve per acquistare Akane di livello massimo.
Il nuovo Ranked System mi piace molto perchè ha semplificato le dinamiche di gioco e perchè incentiva ad aumentare il livello delle proprie carte e infatti è proprio grazie a questo incentivo che ho accellerato la mia attività di ottimizzazione della mia collezione!
