My Return to the Champion III League + My Last Game Session in the Modern Format
On Splinterlands the season 155 is in progress, which is almost at an end because there are only 15 hours and 47 minutes left until the end of the season.
I have been playing on Splinterlands since September 2019 and today, more than 5 years after my first game battle, Splinterlands is still my favorite blockchain-based game.
On Splinterlands you can play on three Ranked game modes:
- Wild Format: it is possible to use cards from all sets, Wild Pass must be paid each season, multi-accounts, bots and battle helpers are allowed
- Modern Format: only cards from the last two sets released in time order can be used, multi-accounts are allowed but bots and battle helpers are prohibited
- Survival Mode: it is possible to use cards from all sets, multi-accounts, bots and battle helpers are allowed

My favorite format is Modern Format because I like to play manually and because in Modern Format bots and battle helpers are banned and I can play only with human players like me.
Today I am especially happy to be able to share a gaming achievement that I have not reached since the year 2021.
In fact, in 2021 I was often playing in the Champion leagues of Wild Format
Today after more than 3 years I am returning to play in the Champion III league.
For me, this is a great gaming result that I am pleased to share in my Hive blog.
Returning to play in the third most important league in Splinterlands is a reason of satisfaction for me also because I have a good collection of cards that can be used in Modern Format but I do not have a completely top level collection.
My current rating score = 3700 places me at rank 207 in the Diamond seasonal rankings.
I also received the CHAMPION III LOOT for the first time although I was not particularly lucky with the contents of the chests.
I still have 39 Energy points to use before the end of the season, and because of this, my results could improve but also get worse.
Even if I will lose many battles and go back to the Diamond I league I will still be glad that I at least made it to the Champion III league!
I reached the Champion III league thanks to 4 consecutive wins and I have to thank player GUYFROMAJAX because, by surrendering in the last battle, he allowed me to gain 40 rating points with which I made the jump from a rating = 3660 to a rating = 3700.
In this post I will share my daily game activity in Modern Format and from this part of the post onwards I will alternate between game and writing phases because I will write this post contextually with my game activity.
Will I be able to improve my rating or will I make it worse?

In my first battle I met a player with a Power above 4 million but a slightly higher rating than mine.
Unfortunately I start my game session on the wrong foot because I had to step away from the pc and I run out of time :(
First battle and first defeat and return to Diamond I league.
Second battle, the Going to Distance ruleset is one of my favorites because I have a good number of useful cards in the presence of this particular ruleset that forces you to use only cards with attack from distance.
In the next image I have highlighted the abilities that are particularly useful when the ruleset is Going to Distance.

I win the battle and return to the Champion III league :)
In the third battle neutral cards and legendary cards cannot be used.

My opponent chooses the better card formation than mine and I lose this battle.
I also lose the fourth battle and move further away from the Champion III league.

In the fifth battle the presence of the Brian Patch ruleset incentivizes me to use cards with magic attack and I also use Vruz for his Martyr ability but I lose this battle as well.

In my game session today in the Modern Format I played a total of 11 battles.
Out of 11 battles:
- I lost 8 battles
- I won 3 battles
- I gained 2102 GLINT
- I gained 21.12 SPS
It was not a good game session for me considering my season win rate which is higher than the win rate I got in the last 11 battles played but I still have 30 energy points to use = 30 battles to play before the end of the season.
I will continue to play before the end of the season and try to finish the season at least in the Champion III league.
When I have used up all my energy points I will enable all my cards to Survival Mode and play in Survival Mode until all my summoners enter Cooldown Mode.
I will follow this strategy because at the beginning of each season the cooldown reset of the cards eliminated in Survival Mode battles occurs.

Il mio ritorno nella lega Champion III + La mia attività di gioco giornaliera nel Modern Format
Su Splinterlands è in corso la stagione 155 che è quasi al termine perchè mancano solo 15 ore e 47 minuti alla fine della stagione.
Gioco su Splinterlands dal mese di settembre 2019 e oggi, dopo più di 5 anni dalla mia prima battaglia di gioco, Splinterlands è ancora il mio gioco basato su blockchain preferito.
Su Splinterlands è possibile giocare su tre modalità di gioco di tipo Ranked:
- Wild Format: è possibile utilizzare le carte di tutti i set, è necessario pagare il Wild Pass ogni stagione, multi-accounts, bots e battle helpers sono consentiti
- Modern Format: è possibile utilizzare solo le carte degli ultimi due set rilasciati in ordine temporale, il multi-accounts è consentito ma bots e battle helpers sono vietati
- Survival Mode: è possibile utilizzare le carte di tutti i set, multi-accounts, bots e battle helpers sono consentiti

Il mio formato preferito è il Modern Format perchè mi piace giocare manualmente e perchè nel Modern Format sono vietati i bots e sono vietati i battle helpers e posso giocare solo con i giocatori umani come me.
Oggi sono particolarmente contento di poter condividere un risultato di gioco che non raggiungevo dall'anno 2021.
Infatti nel 2021 giocavo nelle leghe Champion del Wild Format anche se per giocare in queste leghe noleggiavo molte carte.
Quando è stato introdotto il requisito del Collection Power non sono stato più capace di arrivare in queste leghe.
Oggi dopo più di 3 anni ritorno a giocare nella lega Champion III.
Per me, questo è un grande risultato di gioco che ho piacere a condividere nel mio Hive blog.
Ritornare a giocare nella terza lega più importante di Splinterlands è motivo di soddisfazione per me anche perchè ho una buona collezione di carte utilizzabile nel Modern Format ma non ho una collezione completamente di massimo livello.
Il mio attuale punteggio di rating = 3700 mi posiziona al rank 207 nella classifica stagionale Diamond.
Ho ricevuto per la prima volta il CHAMPION III LOOT anche se non sono stato particolarmente fortunato con il contenuto dei chests.
Ho ancora 39 Energy points da utilizzare prima della fine della stagione e per questo motivo i miei risultati potrebbero migliorare ma anche peggiorare.
Anche se dovessi perdere molte battaglie e tornare nella lega Diamond I sarò comunque contento di essermi almeno affacciato alla lega Champion III!
Ho raggiunto la lega Champion III grazie a 4 vittorie consecutive e devo ringraziare il giocatore GUYFROMAJAX perchè, arrendendosi nell'ultima battaglia, mi ha permesso di guadagnare 40 punti di rating con i quali ho fatto il salto da un rating = 3660 a un rating = 3700.
Concludo questo post condividendo la mia attività di gioco giornaliera nel Modern Format e da questa parte del post in poi alternerò fasi di gioco e fasi di scrittura perchè scriverò questo post contestualmente alla mia attività di gioco.
Sarò in grado di migliorare il mio rating o lo peggiorerò?

Nella mia prima battaglia ho incontrato un giocatore con un Power superiore a 4 milioni ma un rating leggermente più alto del mio.
Purtroppo inizio la mia sessione di gioco con il piede sbagliato perchè mi sono dovuto allontanare dal pc e faccio scadere il tempo :(
Prima battaglia e prima sconfitta e ritorno in lega Diamond I
Seconda battaglia, la ruleset Going to Distance è una delle mie preferite perchè ho un buon numero di carte utili in presenza di questa particolare ruleset che obbliga ad utilizzare solo carte con attacco dalla distanza.
Nella prossima immagine ho evidenziato le abilità particolarmente utili quando la ruleset è Going to Distance.

Nella terza battaglia non è possibile utilizzare carte neutrali e carte leggendarie.

Il mio avversario sceglie la formazione di carte migliore della mia e io perdo questa battaglia.
Perdo anche la quarta battaglia e mi allontano ancora di più dalla lega Champion III.

Nella quinta battaglia la presenza della ruleset Brian Patch mi incentiva ad utilizzare carte con attacco magico e utilizzo anche Vruz per la sua abilità Martyr ma perdo anche questa battaglia.

Nella mia sessione odierna nel Modern Format ho giocato in totale 11 battaglie.
Su 11 battaglie:
- ho perso 8 battaglie
- ho vinto 3 battaglie
- ho guadagnato 2102 GLINT
- ho guadagnato 21.12 SPS
Non è stata una sessione di gioco positiva per me considerando il mio win rate stagionale che è più alto del win rate che ho ottenuto nelle ultime 11 battaglie giocate ma ho ancora 30 energy points da utilizzare = 30 battaglie da giocare prima della fine della stagione.
Continuerò a giocare prima della fine della stagione e cercherò di terminare la stagione almeno nella lega Champion III.
Quando avrò consumato tutti i miei energy points abiliterò tutte le mie carte al Survival Mode e giocherò nel Survival Mode fino a quando tutti i miei evocatori entreranno in modalità Cooldown.
Seguirò questa strategia perchè all'inizio di ogni stagione avviene il reset del cooldown delle carte eliminate nelle battaglie del Survival Mode.
