Rebellion Conflicts: The New Splinterlands Airdrop System is Coming - My Total Airdrop Chances Calculation and My Probable Strategy
After the Christmas break, the Splinterlands Town Hall is back, which is an important weekly event for all Splinterlands players because it's the time when the Splinterlands team announces news and answers players' questions.
There is so much interesting news but in this post my focus is on the new Airdrop System: The Rebellion Conflits.
The new Airdrop System will begin on January 23, 2024 and will be active immediately after the maintenance window.
The requirements to participate will be 2:
-
have one or more Mage Wagons = in-game containers that can contain max 5 Rebellion cards and max 100 Rebellion packs.

have Rebellion cards and/or Rebellion packs.

The Rebellion Conflits will total 9, will last 30 days each, and will distribute a total of 9 different Rebellion Cards.

The protagonist of the first airdrop will be a legendary card of the Dragon element: RAGE
Rage is a card with a high cost in mana (16) but it has very strong battle stats and abilities as early as level 1 although the real potential of this card starts in my opinion from level 2 when it acquires the Weapon Trading ability that allows magic attack = 3 to be gained by attackless cards in the two positions adjacent to Rage.

how to quickly calculate your total Contribution points and the total Airdrop chances you will have if you participate with all your Rebellion cards in the first Rebellion Conflict from the beginning.

How to quickly calculate your Conflicts Total Contribution
Only Rebellion cards and Rebellion packs count in the new Airdrop System.
For Rebellion cards: Contribution Points per hour = Collection Power Points.
Note: In Mage wagons, cards received by delegation cannot be used and cards for sale cannot be used.
Cards used in Rebellion Conflicts can be used to play in battles.
For Rebellion packs: 1 Rebellion pack = 100 Contribution Points per hour.
Note: In Mage wagons you can use all Rebellion packs even those purchased on Hive Engine or third-party sites.
The formula for calculating Total Contribution is:
CP x hours left in the Conflict
To quickly calculate the Total Collection Power of my Rebellion cards I use the My Cards section of Peakmonsters in which I use the filters you can see in the image below (to exclude delegated, for sale, and rented cards).
The My Cards section of Peakmonsters shows me as the result: Collection Power = 23095 .
This means that my potential Contribution per hour = 23095.
Each Conflict has a duration of 30 days and in 30 days there are 720 hours.
If I use all my Rebellion cards within the first hour of the first Rebellion Conflict:
my Total Contribution = CP x hours left in the Conflict = 23095 x 720 = 16628400
I do not have any unopened Rebellion packs at this time but if I did I would have to add to the previous result 100 x 720 = +72000 Contribution points for each pack.
How to quickly calculate your Airdrop Chances
100K Contribution points = 1 Airdrop chance
200 Airdrop Chances = 1 Airdrop Card is guaranteed
To know the total Airdrop chances you need to do one last calculation:
Total Contribution Points / 100000
In my case to calculate my airdrop chances I did the following calculation:
My Airdrop Chances = Total Contribution Points / 100000 = 16628400/100000 = 166.28 = 166
I have potentially 166 Airdrop Chances that to make them real during airdrop I will need to purchase a specific number of Mage Wagons.
Each Mage Wagon can hold a maximum of 5 cards and a maximum of 100 packs.
To quickly calculate the number of Mage Wagons needed to hold all my Rebellion cards I again use the My Cards section of Peakmonsters with the same filters I showed you earlier.
In fact Peakmonsters displays the total number of my Rebellion cards: 232 Cards.
If I divide the total number of my Rebellion cards with the maximum amount of cards that 1 Mage Wagon can contain I obtain the number of Mage Wagons I need to purchase to use all my Rebellion cards.
Total number of mage wagons I need = 232 / 5 = 46.4 = 47
I must therefore purchase 47 Mage Wagons if I want to use all my Rebellion cards and if I want to gain 166 Airdrop chances.
To decrease the number of Mage Wagons I have to purchase I can combine my cards if I have uncombined BCX.
But how much will 1 Mage Wagon cost?
1 Mage Wagon will be purchased by choosing from 3 purchase options:
- 50 VOUCHERS
- 10000 DEC
- 10000 Credits
In the image below you can see the market values of the VOUCHER and DEC tokens.
Although Mage Wagons cannot yet be purchased in the image below you can see the calculation of the dollar cost of 1 Mage Wagon based on the purchase options and based on the current market values of the HIVE, VOUCHER and DEC tokens.
The value of VOUCHER tokens may increase when the first Rebellion Conflict starts but buying Mage Wagons with VOUCHER tokens will definitely be the best buying option that can be chosen among the three available.
So if I want to get 166 chaches in the first airdrop I will have to purchase 47 Mage wagons which will cost me 2300 VOUCHER = $98.06
I have a total of 632 VOUCHER tokens and so I have to decide whether to:

buy more VOUCHER tokens
-
combine my Rebellion cards to reduce the number of Mage Wagons I need
-
use only my Rebellion cards that have a high CP
I need to decide quickly whether to buy more VOUCHERS because the price of VOUCHERS may increase as the start of the first Rebellion Conflict approaches.
I have not yet decided what to do but my most probably strategy will be as follows:
- I will not purchase any more VOUCHER tokens.
- I will use my VOUCHER tokens to purchase Mage Wagons
- I will continue to purchase Rebellion packs
- I will immediately open all Rebellion packs that I purchase
- I will increase the level of Rebellion cards I like and use in battle
- I will sell all Rebellion cards that are not among my short-term upgrade goals
- with the profit I get from selling cards I will buy more Rebellion packs but only if the estimated value is greater than the purchase price
By increasing the level of Rebellion cards I use in Modern Format battles I will increase the battle strength of my Rebellion card collection, progressively increase my Total Contribution and at the same time progressively increase my Airdrop chances.
I will try to reach a number of airdrop chances = 200 to be guaranteed to receive at least 1 card from airdrop.
In my next post I will share my choices.
Today I bought another 47 Rebellion packs from Hive Engine which I haven't opened yet only because I always open the packs together with my daughter Chiara who enjoys opening the packs but now my daughter is asleep and we will open the packs together tomorrow hoping to find a GFL card which would allow me to increase my total Contribution.
I continue to set growth goals on Splinterlands, hope that bots will be eliminated completely from Splinterlands, continue to increase the battle strength of my usable card collection in Modern Format where there are no bots, and look forward with much excitement to the fully playable versions of Genesis League Soccer and Soulkeep that will expand the Splinterlands ecosystem

Rebellion Conflicts: Il nuovo sistema di Airdrop è in arrivo
Dopo la pausa natalizia è tornato lo Splinterlands Town Hall che è un momento settimanale importante per tutti i giocatori di Splinterlands perchè è il momento in cui il team di Splinterlands annuncia le novità e risponde alle domande dei giocatori.
Ci sono tante novità interessanti ma in questo post il mio focus è sul nuovo Airdrop System che si chiama Rebellion Conflits.
Il nuovo Airdrop System inizierà il 23 gennaio 2024 e sarà attivo subito dopo la finestra di manutenzione.
I requisiti per partecipare saranno 2:

avere uno o più Mage Wagon = contenitori in game che possono contenere max 5 Rebellion cards e max 100 Rebellion packs.

avere Rebellion cards e/o Rebellion packs

La protagonista del primo airdrop sarà una carta leggendaria dell'elemento Dragone: RAGE
Rage è una carta con un alto costo in mana (16) ma ha statistiche di battaglia e abilità molto forti già a partire dal livello 1 anche se il vero potenziale di questa carta inizia secondo me a partire dal livello 2 quando acquisisce l'abilità Weapon Trading che permette di far guadagnare un attacco magico = 3 alle carte senza attacco nelle due posizioni adiacenti a Rage.

- come calcolare il numero totale e il costo totale dei Mage Wagons necessari per utilizzare tutte le tue carte Rebellion
Come calcolare velocemente il tuo Conflicts Total Contribution.
Nel nuovo Airdrop System contano solo le carte Rebellion e i pacchi Rebellion.
Per le carte Rebellion: Contribution Points per ora = Collection Power Points
Nota: nei Mage wagons non possono essere utilizzate le carte ricevute in delega e non possono essere utilizzate le carte in vendita
Le carte utilizzate nei Rebellion Conflicts possono essere utilizzate per giocare nelle battaglie.
Per i pacchi Rebellion: 1 Rebellion pack = 100 Contribution Points per ora
Nota: nei Mage wagons puoi utilizzare tutti i pacchi Rebellion anche quelli acquistati su Hive Engine o su siti di terze parti.
La formula per il calcolo del Total Contribution è:
CP x hours left in the Conflict
Per calcolare velocemente il Total Collection Power delle mie carte Rebellion io uso la sezione My Cards di Peakmonsters in cui utilizzo i filtri che puoi vedere nell'immagine seguente (per escludere le carte delegate, in vendita e in affitto).
La sezione My Cards di Peakmonsters mi mostra come risultato: Collection Power = 23095 .
Questo vuol dire che il mio potenziale Contribution per ora = 23095
Ogni Conflict ha una durata di 30 giorni e in 30 giorni ci sono 720 ore.
Se utilizzo tutte le mie carte Rebellion entro la prima ora del primo Rebellion Conflict:
il mio Total Contribution = CP x hours left in the Conflict = 23095 x 720 = 16628400
Non ho pacchi Rebellion non aperti in questo momento ma se li avevo avrei dovuto aggiungere al risultato precedente 100 x 720 = +72000 Contribution points per ogni pacco.
Come calcolare velocemente le tue Airdrop Chances
100K Contribution points = 1 Airdrop chance
200 Airdrop Chances = 1 Airdrop Card è garantita
Per conoscere il totale delle Airdrop chances devi fare un ultimo calcolo:
Total Contribution Points / 100000
Nel mio caso per calcolare le mie airdrop chances ho fatto il seguente calcolo:
My Airdrop Chances = Total Contribution Points / 100000 = 16628400/100000 = 166.28 = 166
Ho potenzialmente 166 Airdrop chances che per renderle reali durante l'airdrop dovrò acquistare un preciso numero di Mage Wagons.
Ogni Mage Wagon può contenere massimo 5 carte e massimo 100 pacchi.
Per calcolare velocemente il numero di Mage Wagon necessari per contenere tutte le mie carte Rebellion utilizzo di nuovo la sezione My Cards di Peakmonsters con gli stessi filtri che ti ho mostrato prima.
Infatti Peakmonsters visualizza il numero totale delle mie carte Rebellion: 232 Cards
Se divido il numero totale delle mie carte Rebellion con il massimo quantitativo di carte che può contenere 1 Mage Wagon ottengo il numero di Mage Wagon che devo acquistare per utilizzare tutte le mie carte Rebellion.
Total number of mage wagons I need = 232 / 5 = 46.4 = 47
Devo quindi acquistre 47 Mage Wagon se voglio utilizzare tutte le mie carte Rebellion e se voglio guadagnare 166 Airdrop chances.
Per diminuire il numero di Mage Wagons da acquistare posso combinare le mie carte se ho BCX non combinati.
Ma quanto costerà 1 Mage Wagon?
1 Mage Wagon potrà essere acquistato scegliendo tra 3 opzioni di acqusito:
- 50 VOUCHER
- 10000 DEC
- 10000 Credits
Nell'immagine seguente puoi vedere i valori di mercato dei token VOUCHER e DEC
Anche se i Mage Wagons non possono ancora essere acquistati nell'immagine seguente puoi vedere il calcolo del costo in dollari di 1 Mage Wagon in base all'opzione di acquisto e in base ai valori di mercato attuali dei token HIVE, VOUCHER e DEC.
Il valore dei token VOUCHER potrebbe aumentare quando inizierà il primo Rebellion Conflict ma acquistare i Mage Wagons con i token VOUCHER sarà sicuramente la migliore opzione di acquisto sceglibile tra le tre disponibili.
Se voglio ottenere 166 chaches nel primo airdrop dovrò acquistare 47 Mage wagons che mi costeranno 2300 VOUCHER = 98.06$
Io ho un totale di 632 VOUCHER e quindi devo decidere se:
-
acquistare altri VOUCHER tokens
-
combinare le mie carte Rebellion per ridurre il numero di Mage Wagons a me necessari
-
utilizzare solo le mie carte Rebellion che hanno un CP alto
Devo decidere velocemente se acquistare altri VOUCHER perchè il prezzo dei VOUCHER potrebbe aumentare con l'avvicinarsi dell'inizio del primo Rebellion Conflict.
Non ho ancora deciso cosa fare ma la mia strategia più probabile sarà la seguente:
- non acquisterò altri token VOUCHER
- utilizzerò i miei token VOUCHER per acquistare i Mage Wagons
- continuerò ad acquistare pacchi Rebellion
- aprirò immediatemente tutti i pacchi Rebellion che acquisterò
- aumenterò il livello delle carte Rebellion che mi piacciono e che utilizzo in battaglia
- venderò tutte le carte Rebellion che non sono tra i miei obiettivi di upgrade di breve termine
Aumentando il livello delle carte Rebellion che utilizzo nelle battaglie del Modern Format aumenterò la forza in battaglia della mia collezione di carte Rebellion, aumenterò progressivamente il mio Total Contribution e allo stesso tempo aumenterò progressivamente le mie Airdrop chances.
Cercherò di ottenere un numero di airdrop chances = 200 per avere la garanzia di ricevere almeno 1 carta dall'airdrop.
Nel mio prossimo post condividerò le mie scelte.
Oggi ho acquistato altri 47 Rebellion packs da Hive Engine che non ho ancora aperto solo perchè apro i pacchi sempre insieme a mia figlia Chiara che si diverte ad aprire i pacchi ma adesso mia figlia dorme e apriremo insieme i pacchi domani sperando di trovare una GFL card che mi permetterebbe di aumentare il mio total Contribution.
