Rise Of The Pixels: The results and rewards of my first game! + The creation of my first Small game!
The list of Hive Games I play continues to grow because Hive is my favorite blockchain project and because blockchain-based games are one of my passions.
On April 22, 2024, the fully playable version of the game Rise Of The Pixels was released.
Rise Of The Pixels is a Hive based browser management game in which the player must manage a video game creation studio.

Two days ago, on April 23, I started playing this game and published a post in which I wrote a brief introduction about the game and in which I shared the steps I took to create my first game.

My first game created and released did not score very well: 3.7 out of 10
The reviews were also not very positive except for the review by player Yaba who really liked the first game created by my studio.
The very positive note of the release of my first game was the difference between income and cost because I spent 142.90 PXL coins and earned 190.13 PXL tokens.
In fact in the game Rise of the Pixels there are two types of tokens:
- PXL coins (in-game non-transferable tokens)
- PXL tokens (purchasable, saleable and transferable tokens).
To create and release a game, a cost in PXL coins or PXL tokens must be paid while rewards are always in PXL tokens.
Today April 25, 2024, the value of 1 PXL is:

0.02200000 SWAP.HIVE (Lowest ask value)
Based on the current market value of PXL tokens (highest bid value), I received a reward worth: 190.13 PXL = 2.66 HIVE
If I make the difference between the cost I incurred to create my first game and the reward I received I get a profit of +47.22 PXL = + 0.661 HIVE
Not bad for a first reward!
Starting today and as I do for all the games I play or have invested in I will start monitoring the value of the PXL token.
Today I increased the production of my game studio and created another game.
Before creating my future games I gave accessories to my best team members based on the Higher Skills + Speed filter.
Today I decided to create more games and in this post I show you the creation of my first Small game.
My best developer acquires +2 Skill when working on a game of the Adventure genre and therefore I will create my first Small game on the Adventure genre.
In the following image you can see the choices related to my first small game.
I chose the title (Blood and Swords) and wrote a description of the game.
I want my first small game to be successful and have assigned to the project:

My Blood and Swords game will have a total cost of 722.28 PXL coins which is a cost almost 10 times higher than my first game.
I chose to increase the production hours to 24h in order to have more Development Points to use and in the following image you can see what I chose.
As a final step, I clicked on Create Game.
Now in my Dashboard (Project Hub) I can monitor the progress of the development of the Blood and Swords game that I will be able to release in 24 hours and which I hope will have a much more positive feedback than my previous game :)
In conclusion I share the description of the latest improvements made to the game that @asgarth communicated in the Rise of the Pixels discord server.

Il 22 aprile 2024 è stata rilasciata la versione completamente giocabile del gioco Rise Of The Pixels
Rise Of The Pixels è un Hive based browser game in cui il giocatore ha il compito di gestire uno studio di crazione di videogiochi.

Due giorni fa, il 23 aprile, ho iniziato a giocare a questo gioco e ho pubblicato un post in cui ho scritto una breve introduzione sul gioco e in cui ho condiviso i passi che ho effettuato per creare il mio primo gioco.

Il mio primo gioco creato e rilasciato non ha avuto un punteggio molto positivo: 3.7 out of 10
Anche le recensioni non sono state molto positive tranne la recensione del giocatore Yaba che ha molto apprezzato il primo gioco creato dal mio studio.
La nota molto positiva del rilascio del mio primo gioco è stata la differenza tra ricavi e costi perchè ho speso 142.90 PXL coins e ho guadagnato 190.13 PXL tokens.
Infatti nel gioco Rise of the Pixels ci sono due tipologie di token:
- PXL coins (in-game non-transferable tokens)
- PXL tokens (purchasable, saleable and transferable tokens)
Per creare e rilasciare un gioco è necessario sostenere un costo in PXL coins o PXL tokens mentre le ricompense sono sempre in PXL tokens.
Oggi 25 aprile 2024 il valore di 1 PXL è:

In base al valore attuale di mercato dei token PXL (highest bid value) ho ricevuto una ricompensa del valore: 190.13 PXL = 2.66 HIVE
Se faccio la differenza tra il costo che ho sostenuto per creare il mio primo gioco e la ricompensa che ho ricevuto ottengo un profitto di +47.22 PXL = + 0.661 HIVE
Non male come prima ricompensa!
A partire da oggi e come faccio per tutti i giochi in cui gioco o in cui ho investito inizierò a monitorare il valore del token PXL.
Oggi ho aumentato la produzione del mio game studio e ho creato altri giochi.
Prima di creare i miei giochi ho dato degli accessori ai miei team members migliori in base al filtro Higher Skills + Speed.
Oggi ho deciso di creare il mio secondo gioco che sarà anche il mio primo Small game!

Ho scelto di aumentare le ore di produzione fino a 24h per avere più Development Points da utilizzare e nell'immagine seguente puoi vedere cosa ho scelto.
Come ultimo passaggio ho cliccato su Create Game.
Adesso nella mia Dashboard (Project Hub) posso monitorare i progressi sullo sviluppo del gioco Blood and Swords che potrò rilasciare tra 24 ore e che spero avrà un riscontro molto più positivo del mio precedente gioco :)
In conclusione condivido la descrizione degli ultimi miglioramenti apportati al gioco che @asgarth ha comunicato nel server discord di Rise of the Pixels.
