My partial seasonal results + My Card Collection Upgrades: Focus on 0 Mana Cards
which will end in about 7 days and 16 hours.
At the time of writing this post I have a rating = 1900 and play in the Gold III league of the Modern Format.
My win rate (46%) although partial is worse than the previous season: -2.62%
I still have almost eight days to improve my win rate and to achieve my season goals which are:
- finish the season at least in the Gold I league.
- to accumulate at least 50K GLINT as an end-of-season reward.
I like to play regularly on Splinterlands and I also like to increase the battle strength of my collection of cards that are usable in Modern Format.
I choose my upgrades goals mostly by looking at the cards I use the most in battle, and today I chose to upgrade to the highest level of cards that cost 0 mana and are usable in the Modern Format.
There are 5 cards that cost 0 mana that are usable in Modern Format:

Soul Fiend
-
Torrent Fiend
-
Scorch Fiend
-
Corpse Fiend
-
Fungus Fiend
These five cards have in common the cost in mana but also other aspects:
-
they are legendary cards of the Chaos Legion set.
-
they have a melee attack = 1 equal in all levels
-
they acquire an ability only at the maximum level.
Because of the fact that they acquire an ability only at the maximum level in my opinion they are cards that are better to have at level 1 or maximum level because the intermediate levels offer little benefit compared to the cost.
I have two cards in my collection that cost 0 mana that I have upgraded to maximum level long ago:

Torrent Fiend
Today I decided to set as my goal to have all of these cards at the highest level also because they are cards that I use often in battle as evidenced by the Status (Last Played) statistic in the My Cards section of Peakmonsters.
To upgrade to the highest level of Soul Fiend, I immediately purchased 9 BCX from Monstermarket because I found a purchase price close to the Highest bid value.
I only purchased 9 BCX because I already had 2 BCX and spent a total of 5693.52 DEC = $4.38 (- cashback: 136.64 DEC)
I now have a card that costs 0 mana and can be very useful especially in Low mana battles to increase the speed of my cards in battle.
Also for Fungus Field I had 2 BCX but in this case I only found a low price for 6 BCX: $0.567 per BCX.
For this reason, I immediately purchased 6 BCXs and placed a bid for 3 more BCXs.
I now have Fungus Field level 3 + 2 BCX and hope that my offer to buy will be accepted soon by some seller so that I can complete this upgrade.
For Corpse Field, I decided instead to purchase 11 BCXs even though I needed 10 because I would have spent much more by purchasing 10 BCXs.
I will put up for sale the single BCX that I already had in my card collection.
To buy Corpse Field of maximum level I spent 7978.66 DEC = $6.13 (- cashback: 191.48 DEC)
I now have a card that costs 0 mana with the Silence ability that will be very useful against opponents who use many cards with magic attack.
In the conclusion of this post I want to share my decision to double my game activity on Splinterlands.
I play in the Modern Format where I cannot use my 179 cards (=3068 BCX) of the Beta and Untamed sets.
The Beta and Untamed cards have lost a lot of value in the rental market compared to the past and I want to try using them in the Wild Format to see if I get more value from the rewards in SPS than the DEC tokens I can earn from rental.
Therefore, I have decided to delegate a small portion of SPS tokens and all of my Beta and Untamed cards to my curation account for SPS tokens: @libertygame27
By the way I recently bought a new pc and also added 2 monitors to my previous setup of 2 monitors and playing simultaneously with two accounts would take me about the same amount of time.

I will do this test for a month and if the in-game rewards will be higher than the estimated income for renting my cards I will continue to play even with libertygame27 in the wild format otherwise I will put my Beta and Untamed cards back available in the rental market.
I decided to do this test also because there are two proposals underway to minimize the negative effects of bot farms in the Wild Format and if these solutions are implemented and if they have positive effects the rewards in the wild format might increase.
I will share the evaluations and results of my test in my next post.

I mie risultati stagionali parziali + L'ottimizzazione della mia collezione di carte: Focus sulle carte che costano 0 mana
Su Splinterlands è in corso la stagione numero 134 che terminerà tra circa 7 giorni e 16 ore.
Nel momento in cui scrivo questo post ho un punteggio di rating = 1900 e gioco nella lega Gold III del Modern Format.
Il mio win rate (46%) anche se parziale è peggiore rispetto alla stagione precedente: -2.62%
Ho ancora quasi otto giorni per migliorare il mio win rate e per raggiungere i miei obiettivi stagionali che sono:
- terminare la stagione almeno nella lega Gold I
- accumulare almeno 50K GLINT come ricompensa di fine stagione
Mi piace giocare regolarmente su Splinterlands e mi piace anche aumentare la forza in battaglia della mia collezione di carte utilizzabile nel Modern Format.
Scelgo i miei obiettivi di upgrades soprattutto guardando le carte che utilizzo di più in battaglia e oggi ho scelto di fare l'upgrade al massimo livello delle carte che costano 0 mana e che sono utilizzabili nel Modern Format.
Ci sono 5 carte che costano 0 mana utilizzabili nel Modern Format:

Queste cinque carte hanno in comune il costo in mana ma anche altri aspetti:

acquisiscono un'abilità solo al massimo livello
Per il fatto che acquisiscono un abilità solo al massimo livello secondo me sono carte che conviene avere al livello 1 o al livello massimo perchè i livelli intermedi offrono pochi vantaggi rispetto al costo.
Nella mia collezione ho due carte che costano 0 mana che ho portato al massimo livello già da molto tempo:

Oggi ho deciso di fissare come mio obiettivo di avere tutte queste carte al massimo livello anche perchè sono carte che uso spesso in battaglia come evidenziato dalla statistica Status (Last Played) nella sezione My Cards di Peakmonsters.
Per fare l'upgrade al livello massimo di Soul Fiend ho acquistato immediatamente 9 BCX da Monstermarket perchè ho trovato un prezzo di acquisto vicino al valore Highest bid.
Ho acquistato solo 9 BCX perchè avevo già 2 BCX e ho speso in totale 5693.52 DEC = 4.38$ (- cashback: 136.64 DEC)
Adesso ho una carta che costa 0 mana e che potrà essermi molto utile soprattutto nelle Low mana battles per aumentare la velocità delle mie carte in battaglia.
Anche per Fungus Field avevo 2 BCX ma in questo caso ho trovato un prezzo basso solo per 6 BCX: 0.567$ per BCX.
Per questo motivo ho acquistato immediatamente 6 BCX e ho piazzato un offerta di acquisto bid per altri 3 BCX.
Adesso ho Fungus Field di livello 3 + 2 BCX e spero che la mia offerta di acquisto venga accettata presto da qualche venditore per poter completare questo upgrade.
Per Corpse Field ho invece deciso di acquistare 11 BCX anche se me ne servivano 10 perchè avrei speso molto di più acquistando 10 BCX.
Metterò in vendita il singolo BCX che avevo già nella mia collezione di carte.

Nella conclusione di questo post voglio condividere la mia decisione di raddoppiare la mia attività di gioco su Splinterlands.
Gioco nel Modern Format dove non posso utilizzare le mie 179 carte (=3068 BCX) dei set Beta e Untamed.
Le carte Beta e Untamed hanno perso molto valore nel mercato del noleggio rispetto al passato e voglio provare ad utilizzarle nel Wild Format per vedere se ottengo maggior valore dalle ricompense in SPS rispetto ai token DEC che posso guadagnare dal noleggio.
Per questo motivo ho deciso di delegare una piccola parte di token SPS e tutte le mie carte Beta e Untamed al mio curation account per i token SPS: @libertygame27
Tra l'altro ho da poco acquistato un nuovo pc e ho anche aggiunto 2 monitors al mio precedente setup di 2 monitors e giocare contemporaneamente con due accounts mi richiederebbe più o meno lo stesso tempo.

Farò questo test per un mese e se le ricompense di gioco saranno superiori al guadagno stimato per il noleggio continuerò a giocare anche con libertygame27 nel wild format altrimenti rimetterò le mie carte Beta e Untamed nuovamente disponibili nel mercato del noleggio.
Ho deciso di fare questo test anche perchè ci sono due proposte in corso per minimizzare gli effetti negativi delle bot farms nel Wild Format e se queste soluzioni saranno implementate e se avranno effetti positivi le ricompense nel wild format potrebbero aumentare.
Condividerò le valutazioni e i risultati del mio test nel mio prossimo post.
