Splinterlands Rulesets and My Preferred Ability Combinations: Noxious Fumes + Immunity, Cleanse and Resurrect
Splinterlands is a fun game because every battle is different:
-
because the opponents change
-
because in each battle the combinations of rulesets also change, which can either amplify a card's usefulness in battle or reduce it.
I like to play only in the Modern Format where bots and battle helpers are banned because I only have fun if I know I am playing with human players like me.
The most fun part of Splinterlands for me is the strategic part where the choice of cards to buy or rent and the choice of cards to use in battle is important and at the same time fun.
In two of my previous posts I shared some my strategies and some combinations of cards that I prefer to use in battles that have precise rulesets
In today's post my focus is on the Noxious Fumes ruleset and the combinations of cards/abilities I most like to use in this type of battle in the Modern Format.

The Noxious Fumes ruleset produces the poisoning of all cards at the beginning of the battle.
Starting from round 2, all cards that do not have the Immunity ability lose 2 life points at the beginning of each round.

When the ruleset is Noxious Fumes cards with the Immunity ability are very useful but there are also other abilities that play well in the presence of this ruleset.

The other abilities that are useful are:
- Cleanse: useful for removing poisoning from the card in the first position.
- Resurrect: useful because the card it will resurrect will not suffer poisoning from the ruleset
- Heal: cards that have the Heal ability can recover life points each round of play by limiting or canceling the negative effects of ruleset
- Martyr: Poisoning will produce faster card elimination by anticipating the positive effects of the Martyr ability
Among the cards that can be used in the Modern Format there are only 14 cards (Unbound + Soulbound) that have the Immunity ability.
There are even fewer cards that have a combination of the abilities I listed before.
One of the most useful cards when the ruleset is Noxious Fumes is definitely Adelade Brightwing of level 3 because it has the Resurrect and Immunity abilities.
Also very useful is Quora Towershead of level 3 because it has the Heal and Immunity abilities but to be used requires a summoner with the Conscript ability or the presence of the Are you not entertained? ruleset.
If you enter the abilities I listed earlier in the Items section of Splinterlands you can see all the cards that can be used in Modern Format that are especially useful in battles that have the Noxious Fumes ruleset.
To find out the cost of buying or renting cards that have precise abilities you can use the Buy and Rent sections of Peakmonsters by entering the ability you are interested in in the search filters.

To conclude this post I'll move from theory to practice and show you a my recent battle with the Noxious Fumes ruleset.
In this battle I had 3 rulesets (Noxious Fumes, Target Practice and Equalizer), 45 mana and 5 elements to choose from.
In this battle I chose to use the AKANE summoner and used:
-
Forgotten One because it has the Immunity ability.

Venari Marksrat because it has the Martyr ability.
-
Drybone Hobgoblin because it has the Immunity ability.
-
Oshuur Constantia because it has the Resurrect and Tank Heal abilities.

Redwyrm Dragon because it has the Immunity ability.

My opponent did not use cards with the Immunity ability, and because of this, all of his cards suffered poisoning while I only have three poisoned cards.

In this battle Venari Marksrat with the Martyr ability played an important role because due to the ruleset Target Practice it was the card initially most attacked by enemy cards and for this reason I chose to place it between two cards with the Immunity ability.

When Venari Marksrat was eliminated she increased the stats of Drybone Hobgoblin and Forgotten One and then came back to life thanks to Oshuur Costantia's Resurrect ability and then died again to increase the stats of the adjacent cards a second time.
In fact, during round 2 Venari Marksrat dies for the second time and Drybone Hobgoblin and Forgotten One have much better stats than they started with.

In Round 3 I am left with only 3 cards while my opponent still has 5 cards in play.
The difference, though, is that my three cards have the Immunity ability and I have an ally: the ruleset Noxious Fumes.

At Round 8 I am left with only one card and my opponent seems to have the advantage because he has a total attack of 4 points (1 magic attack + 3 attack from distance) and a total of 14 life points + 4 armor points against my 13 life points.

Without the Noxious Fumes ruleset and using the same cards I would have lost this battle but it is also true that without the Noxious Fumes ruleset I would have used other cards :)

Splinterlands Rulesets e le mie Combinazioni di abilità preferite: Noxious Fumes + Immunity, Cleanse e Resurrect
Splinterlands è un gioco divertente perchè ogni battaglia è diversa:

perchè gli avversari cambiano
-
perchè per in ogni battaglia cambiano anche le combinazioni di rulesets che possono amplificare l'utilità in battaglia di una carta oppure ridurla.
Mi piace giocare solo nel Modern Format dove sono vietati i bots e i battle helpers perchè mi diverto solo se so di giocare con giocatori umani come me.
La parte più divertente di Splinterlands è per me la parte strategica dove la scelta delle carte da acquistare o noleggiare e la scelta delle carte da utilizzare in battaglia è importante e allo stesso tempo divertente.
In due miei precedenti post ho condiviso alcune mie strategie e alcune combinazioni di carte che preferisco utilizzare in battaglie che hanno precise rulesets
Nel post di oggi il mio focus è sulla ruleset Noxious Fumes e sulle combinazioni di carte/abilità che più mi piace utilizzare in questa tipologia di battaglie nel Modern Format.

La ruleset Noxious Fumes produce l'avvelenamento di tutte le carte all'inizio della battaglia.
A partire dal round 2 tutte le carte che non hanno l'abilità Immunity perdono 2 punti vita all'inizio di ogni round.

Quando la ruleset è Noxious Fumes le carte con l'abilità Immunity sono molto utili ma ci sono anche altre abilità che giocano bene in presenza di questa ruleset.

Le altre abilità che sono utili sono:
- Cleanse: utile per rimuovere l'avvelenamento dalla carta in prima posizione.
- Resurrect: utile perchè la carta che farà risorgere non subirà l'avvelenamento da parte della ruleset
- Heal: le carte che hanno l'abilità Heal possono recuperare punti vita ad ogni round di gioco limitando o annullando gli effetti negativi della ruleset
- Martyr: l'avvelenamento produrrà una più veloce eliminazione delle carte anticipando gli effetti positivi dell'abilità Martyr
Tra le carte utilizzabili nel Modern Format ci sono solo 14 carte (Unbound + Soulbound) che hanno l'abilità Immunity.
Sono ancora meno le carte che hanno una combinazione tra le abilità che ti ho elencato prima.
Una delle carte più utili quando la ruleset è Noxious Fumes è sicuramente Adelade Brightwing di livello 3 perchè ha le abilità Resurrect e Immunity.
Molto utile è anche Quora Towershead di livello 3 perchè ha le abilità Heal e Immunity ma per essere utilizzata richiede un evocatore con l'abilità Conscript o la presenza della ruleset Are you not entertained?
Se nella sezione Items di Splinterlands inserisci le abilità che ti ho elencato prima puoi vedere tutte le carte utilizzabili nel Modern Format che sono particolarmente utili nelle battaglie che hanno la ruleset Noxious Fumes.
Per conoscere il costo di acquisto o di noleggio delle carte che hanno precise abilità puoi utilizzare le sezioni Buy e Rent di Peakmonsters inserendo nei filtri di ricerca l'abilità che ti interessa.

Per concludere questo post passo dalla teoria alla pratica e ti mostro una mia recente battaglia con la ruleset Noxious Fumes.
In questa battaglia avevo 3 rulesets (Noxious Fumes, Target Practice e Equalizer), 45 mana e 5 elementi tra cui scegliere.
In questa battaglia ho scelto di utilizzare l'evocatore AKANE e ho utilizzato:

Forgotten One perchè ha l'abilità Immunity
-
Venari Marksrat perchè ha l'abilità Martyr
-
Drybone Hobgoblin perchè ha l'abilità Immunity

Oshuur Costantia perchè ha le abilità Resurrect e Tank Heal

Redwyrm Dragon perchè ha l'abilità Immunity

Il mio avversario non ha usato carte con l'abilità Immunity e per questo motivo tutte le sue carte hanno subito l'avvelenamento mentre io ho solo tre carte avvelenate.

In questa battaglia Venari Marksrat con l'abilità Martyr ha giocato un ruolo importante perchè per effetto della ruleset Target Practice è stata la carta inizialmente più attaccatta dalle carte nemiche e per questo motivo ho scelto di posizionarla tra due carte con l'abilità Immunity.

Quando Venari Marksrat è stata eliminata ha aumentato le statistiche di Drybone Hobgoblin e Forgotten One per poi tornare in vita grazie all'abilità Resurrect di Oshuur Costantia e per poi morire nuovamente per aumentare le statistiche delle carte adiacenti una seconda volta.
Infatti durante il round 2 Venari Marksrat muore per la seconda volta e Drybone Hobgoblin e Forgotten One hanno statistiche decisamente migliori di quelle iniziali.

Nel Round 3 rimango con solo 3 carte mentre il mio avversario ha ancora 5 carte in gioco.
Però la differenza è che le mie tre carte hanno l'abilità Immunity e io ho un alleato: la ruleset Noxious Fumes.

Al Round 8 rimango con una sola carta e il mio avversario sembra in vantaggio perchè ha un attacco totale di 4 punti (1 attacco magico + 3 attacco dalla distanza) e un totale di 14 punti vita + 4 punti armatura contro i miei 13 punti vita.

Vinco la battaglia nel Round 11.

Senza la ruleset Noxious Fumes e utilizzando le stesse carte avrei perso questa battaglia ma è anche vero che senza la ruleset Noxious Fumes avrei utilizzato altre carte :)
