My Game Activity and Progress on Splinterlands: Stop Wild Format, It’s Time to Double My Play in Modern!
On Splinterlands, season 152 is underway in which, as in previous seasons, I enjoy playing in the Modern Format and I also enjoy trying to achieve the seasonal goals I set at the beginning of each season.
The Modern Format is my favorite format because there are no bots but only human players like me!

In seasons 148, 149, 150 and 151 I tested playing in the Wild Format as well.
In the Wild Format I used a bot (XBOT) that played with my Beta and Untamed cards.

Playing in the Modern Format is a very fun for me.
(Non)Playing in the Wild Format using XBOT was very little fun and also unprofitable because I ended the four seasons at a loss even though I used a collection of cards I owned worth more than $600 and also spent an average of 400 DEC per season to rent useful cards in battle.

However, my test was also useful because:

I learned how to use and set up XBOT which will come in handy in the future because I will resume using it when I cannot use my Chaos Legion and Riftwatchers cards in Modern Format but only in Wild Format.

I can now say with more conviction and solid data that the current structure of the Wild Format I dislike and is not an optimal solution for me because, while it disincentivizes bot-farms (positive effect), it also disincentivizes human players from playing it (negative effect).
This is just my opinion and I will continue to share it often in my posts but in my opinion the structure of ranked play should not be the current one but should be this:
- Modern Format: human players only + eventual liquidity bots owned by Splinterlands.
- Wild Format: human players only + eventual liquidity bots owned by Splinterlands
- Bot Format: private bots and human players + Wild Pass
In season 152 I started a new test but this time it will be a much more fun test than the previous one:
- I play as always with @libertycrypto27 in the Modern Format
- instead of using my curation account for SPT tokens (@libertygame27) in the Wild Format I am using it to double my manual play activity in the Modern Format.
When there are a little less than 7 days left until the end of the season, with libertycrypto27 I am in the Diamond II league and getting closer to my season goal: end the season at least in the Diamond I league in the Modern Format.
I am very happy with how the current season is progressing because I have improved my win rate (+5.64%) even though this is a partial and not a final result.
Regarding my test in the Modern Format with libertygame27 I started in the Bronze III league and with a card collection consisting of 53 unbound cards = 570 BCX and a soulbound card collection consisting of 85 cards = 3837 BCX and 50K SPS I arrived in the Silver III league.
In season 151 I spent 545 DEC to rent useful cards in battle and ended the season at a loss using XBOT in the Wild Format.
Today I rented some usable cards in Modern Format and I am curious to see what my financial results will be at the end of the season.
I have rented 6 top level Chaos Legion summoners, 1 per element, for 7 days and will spend a total of 231.41 DEC.
I rented the monster cards that you can see in the next two images.
I rented a total of 22 cards for 7 days and spent a total of 482.32 DEC which is slightly less than what I spent on card rental in season 151.

Based on the current value of the DEC token and SPS token, I will need to earn at least 52.50 SPS from battle victories during season 152 to recover this cost.

Renting the cards I showed you above had immediate positive effects because I played 10 battles and obtained 10 wins and went from the Silver III league to the Silver I league in no time.
Based on the gain in SPS I received from the victory in my last battle played, it should not take me long to recover the card rental cost I incurred today.

Playing with two accounts in the Modern Format is minimally challenging for me because I am familiar with multi-tasking and because I have a multi-monitors setup consisting of 4 monitors which facilitates and allows me to play on multiple games almost simultaneously.
I will continue my test also in the next season only if I earn a higher amount of SPS than in season 147 which is the last season in which I played only with my main account which had all my SPS staked available and thus a higher SPS Boost.

Splinterlands: Finito il test nel formato Wild, è ora di raddoppiare il mio gioco nel Modern!
Su Splinterlands è in corso la stagione 152 nella quale, come nelle precedenti stagioni, mi diverto a giocare solo nel Modern Format e mi diverto anche a cercare di raggiungere gli obiettivi stagionali che fisso ad ogni inizio stagione.
Il Modern Format è il mio formato preferito perchè non ci sono bots ma solo giocatori umani come me!

Nelle stagioni 148, 149, 150 e 151 ho fatto un test giocando anche nel Wild Format.
Nel Wild Format ho utilizzato un bot che ha giocato con le mie carte Beta e Untamed.

Giocare nel Modern Format è molto divertente per me.
(Non)Giocare nel Wild Format utilizzando XBOT è stato poco divertente e anche non profittevole perchè ho chiuso le quattro stagioni in perdita anche se ho utilizzato una collezione di carte di mia proprietà del valore superiore a 600$ e ho anche speso in media 400 DEC a stagione per noleggiare carte utili in battaglia.

Il mio test è stato utile perchè:
- ho imparato ad usare XBOT che mi tornerà utile e che riprenderò ad usare quando non potrò usare le mie carte Chaos Legion e Riftwatchers nel Modern Format ma solo nel Wild Format.
- adesso posso affermare con maggior convinzione e con dati concreti che la struttura attuale del Wild Format non mi piace e non è per me una soluzione ottimale perchè, se da un lato disincentiva le bot-farms (effetto positivo), dall'altro lato disincentiva anche i giocatori umani a giocarci (effetto negativo).
E' solo la mia opinione e continuerò a condividerla spesso nei miei post ma secondo me la struttura del ranked play non dovrebbe essere quella attuale ma dovrebbe essere questa:
- Modern Format: solo giocatori umani + eventuali liquidity bots di proprietà di Splinterlands
- Wild Format: solo giocatori umani + eventuali liquidity bots di proprietà di Splinterlands
- Bot Format: bots privati e giocatori umani + Wild Pass
Nella stagione 152 ho iniziato un nuovo test ma questa volta molto più divertente:
- gioco come sempre con @libertycrypto27 nel Modern Format
- invece di utilizzare il mio curation account per i token SPT (@libertygame27) nel Wild Format lo sto utilizzando per raddoppiare la mia attività di gioco manuale nel Modern Format.
Quando mancano poco meno di 7 giorni alla fine della stagione, con libertycrypto27 sono nella lega Diamond II e mi sto avvicinando al mio obiettivo stagionale: terminare la stagione almeno nella lega Diamond I nel Modern Format.
Sono molto contento per come sta procedendo la stagione in corso perchè ho migliorato il mio win rate (+5.64%) anche se questo è un risultato parziale e non finale.
Per quanto riguarda il mio test nel Modern Format con libertygame27 sono partito dalla lega Bronze III e con una collezione di carte composta da 53 carte unbound = 570 BCX e una collezione di carte soulbound composta da 85 carte = 3837 BCX e 50K SPS sono arrivato nella lega Silver III.

Ho noleggiato 6 evocatori Chaos Legion di massimo livello, 1 per elemento, per 7 giorni e spenderò in totale 231.41 DEC.
Ho noleggiato le carte mostro che puoi vedere nelle due prossime immagini.
Ho noleggiato in totale 22 carte per 7 giorni e spenderò in totale 482.32 DEC che è poco meno di quanto ho speso per il noleggio delle carte nella stagione 151.

In base al valore attuale del token DEC e del token SPS, per recuperare questo costo dovrò guadagnare almeno 52.50 SPS dalle vittorie in battaglia durante la stagione 152.

Noleggiare le carte che ti ho mostrato prima ha avuto effetti positivi immediati perchè ho giocato 10 battaglie e ho ottenuto 10 vittorie e sono passato dalla lega Silver III alla lega Silver I in pochissimo tempo.
In base al guadagno in SPS che ho ricevuto dalla vittoria nella mia ultima battaglia giocata non dovrei impiegare molto tempo per recuperare il costo del noleggio delle carte che ho sostenuto oggi.

Giocare con due accounts nel Modern Format è poco impegnativo per me perchè sono abituato al multi-tasking e perchè ho un multi-monitors setup composto da 4 monitors che mi facilita e mi permette di giocare su più giochi quasi contemporaneamente.
Continuerò il mio test anche nella prossima stagione solo se guadagnerò un quantitativo di SPS maggiore rispetto alla stagione 147 che è l'ultima stagione nella quale ho giocato solo con il mio account principale che aveva tutti i miei SPS staked a disposizione e quindi un SPS Boost più alto.
