En esta ocasión, el tema es hacer una tarjeta regalo, y he decidido hacer una muy especial para nuestros hijos , en mi caso particular la dedicaré a mi hijo, es la persona más importante de mi vida. Podria haber puesto una imagen general , pero quise poner imagenes reales, es muy bonito hacer tarjetas personalizadas, Ademas pronto nos separaremos, ya que él seguirá su camino y se reunirá con su pareja en España, muy lejos de mí. Quiero que se lleve este recuerdo, ya que le he acompañado en todos sus pasos por la vida y ahora es el momento de que él siga los suyos.

I could have put a general image, but I wanted to put real images, it is very nice to make personalized cards, Besides soon we will separate, as he will go his way and join his partner in Spain, far away from me. I want him to take this souvenir with him, since I have accompanied him in all his steps through life and now it is time for him to follow his.
A continuación, explicaré el proceso de creación de la postal, comensando por los materiales empleados:
Elegí cartulina blanca y colores vivos que contrastasen, rojo vino y verde claro, tijeras, cúter, lápiz, foamy con escarchas color aqua, un cordel, silicona, perforadora y algunas fotos de mi hijo.

I chose white card stock and contrasting bright colors, wine red and light green, scissors, box cutter, pencil, foamy with aqua colored frosting, a string, silicone, hole punch and some photos of my son.
Tomé la hoja de cartulina verde claro y la doblé por la mitad; ese tamaño será mi postal. A continuación, cogí un vaso desechable e hice un círculo en la esquina derecha hacia abajo y dentro hice otro redondo con la ayuda de un frasco. En el foamy de escarcha azul aguamarina tambien hice los dos círculos.
I took the sheet of light green cardstock and folded it in half; that size will be my postcard. Next, I took a disposable cup and made a circle in the right corner down and inside I made another round one with the help of a jar. On the aquamarine blue frosting foamy I also made the two circles.

En la cartulina blanca, hice un corazón y lo recorté para utilizarlo como molde y lo marqué en la cartulina roja, haciendo dos corazones rojos. Cogí el cordel y lo pegué al centro de los dos corazones, pegué los dos extremos al círculo y puse el anillo defoamy de escarchas encima. Me gustó mucho este detalle.
On the white cardboard, I made a heart and cut it out to use it as a mold and marked it on the red cardboard, making two red hearts. En la cartulina roja escribí en letras grandes «Para mi hijo» y las recorté, las coloqué sobre la postal y las pegué con silicona.

Del foamy escarchado azul aguamarina recorté tres pétalos y los coloqué en la esquina superior derecha. Recorte un poco una foto en la que mi hijo era más pequeño pero tenía una amplia sonrisa, como quiero que sean siempre sus días, la coloqué más abajo en la parte izquierda del círculo.
From the aquamarine blue frosted foamy I cut out three petals and placed them in the upper right corner. I cut out a photo where my son was smaller but had a wide smile, as I want his days to always be, and placed it lower on the left side of the circle.
En el interior, coloqué una foto nuestra juntos, de una etapa importante de nuestras vidas. Lo decoré con dos corazones que hice más pequeños con la cartulina roja y puse una hoja y unos círculos pequeñitos que hice con la perforadora en el otro lado. Debajo de la foto sólo escribí «Te amo» y lo pinté con rotuladores rojo y verde y adorné con unos pequeños círculos escarchados.
Inside, I placed a photo of us together, from an important stage of our lives. I decorated it with two hearts that I made smaller with the red cardboard and put a leaf and some tiny circles that I made with the hole punch on the other side. Under the photo I just wrote “I love you” and painted it with red and green markers and decorated it with some small frosted circles.
Le regalé la postal a mi hijo, eso me hace muy feliz y pienso que a cualquier madre tambien por eso, que hacer una postal de regalo para nuestros hijos es un detalle muy bonito. Sé que tenía más colores de los que a él le gustan, pero quise que tuviera mi toque personal. Espero que esta tarjeta le recuerde siempre cuánto lo amo y lo apoyo en todas las etapas de su vida. Sé que la conservará, pues mi hijo es muy apegado a todo lo que le doy.
I gave the postcard to my son, that makes me very happy and I think any mother would be too, so making a postcard as a gift for our children is a very nice detail. I know it had more colors than he likes, but I wanted it to have my personal touch. I hope this card will always remind him of how much I love him and support him in all stages of his life. I know he will keep it, as my son is very attached to everything I give him.
