Hello, my Daily Blog friends. Yesterday was Sunday and it was our time to relax. It's been a while since, for different reasons, we are always busy at home and it's been a while since we've had a family outing. As I have already explained in other posts, there are five of us at home: my mom, my son, my husband and, since about three months ago, my nephew, who came to live with us from the province of Cienfuegos. Ah..., wait..., I am missing one member of the family, my dear Pupy, our pet, a very affectionate and playful white Labrador.
This Sunday we decided to dedicate it to ourselves, so we went to the beach. We were really looking forward to it because our Pupy didn't know the sea. On the way, he was a bit uneasy and a bit nervous, as he had never made such long trips by car either, and the beach is more than 20 km away from us.
Hola, mis amigos de Daily Blog. Ayer fue domingo y nos tocaba descansar. Hace algún tiempo que, por diferentes razones, siempre estamos ocupados en casa y llevábamos un tiempo sin realizar una salida familiar. Como ya les he explicado en otros posts, somos cinco en casa: mi mamá, mi hijo, mi esposo y, desde hace unos tres meses, mi sobrino, que vino a vivir con nosotros desde la provincia de Cienfuegos. Ah.., esperen..., me falta un integrante de la familia, mi querido Pupy, nuestra mascota, un labrador blanco muy cariñoso y juguetón.
Este domingo decidimos dedicárnoslo a nosotros mismos, así que nos fuimos a la playa. Nos hacía mucha ilusión porque nuestro Pupy no conocía el mar. Durante el camino, estuvo algo intranquilo y un poco nervioso, ya que tampoco había hecho viajes tan largos en auto, y la playa nos queda a más de 20 km de distancia.

What I like the most is that, at this time of the year and being Sunday, the beaches are usually full, but this one is generally quite empty. There is not much affluence of people, and I like the quiet environments, besides it offers a beautiful landscape.
This beach is quite visited by domestic and foreign tourists looking for a beach with fine sand, palm trees and tranquility, has some restaurants and cafes where they sell a variety of food and other a little more rustic where they sell soft drinks and jams, also offers the service of loungers for those who do not like to sit on the sand.
Fuimos a El Mégano, una playa que queda justo al lado de la Marina Tarará. Me gusta esta playa porque tiene la arena fina, no tiene piedras y no es muy profunda. Lo que más me gusta es que, en esta época del año y siendo domingo, las playas suelen llenarse, pero esta generalmente se mantiene bastante vacía. No hay mucha afluencia de personas, y me gustan los ambientes tranquilos, ademas ofrece un paisage hermoso.
Esta playa es bastante visitada por turistas nacionales y extranjeros que buscan una playa con arena fina, palmeras y tranquilidad, cuenta con algunos restaurantes y cafés donde venden variedad de comida y otros un poco más rústicos donde venden refrescos y mermeladas, también ofrece el servicio de tumbonas para aquellos que no les gusta sentarse en la arena.

I have heard a lot that Labradors are dogs that like water, but my dear Pupy was not very fond of sea water, he always looked at it suspiciously.

He was all the time very euphoric and bathed in the sea several times, but whenever we put him in he wanted to get out instantly. Many times he watched us and barked from the shore for us to come out and play with him, as it seems that the immensity of the sea intimidated him a little. My son was the one he dared to go in with the most, but he still enjoyed the whole ride and the experience.
Estuvo todo el tiempo muy eufórico y se bañó en el mar varias veces, pero siempre que lo metíamos quería salir al instante. Muchas veces nos observaba y ladraba desde la orilla para que saliéramos a jugar con él, pues parece que la inmensidad del mar lo intimidó un poco. Con mi hijo era con quien más se atrevía a entrar, pero igual disfrutó todo el paseo y la experiencia.
The sea was quite calm. This beach is quite serene. We went swimming several times because the sea was delicious and the water was crystal clear, we appreciated the environment, listened to music and even shared a few beers. This family outing was a very good idea, as we needed it to relax and get strength to move forward with all our projects.
Being with my family in a quiet environment is very refreshing for me. These days I have really needed the closeness of my family because life sometimes makes you go through not so nice moments that only family unity and joy make you overcome them. It is important to know that you have them there at your fingertips and that you can enjoy beautiful moments.
El mar estuvo bastante tranquilo. Esta playa es bastante serena. Nos bañamos varias veces pues el mar estaba delicioso y el agua cristalina, apreciamos el entorno, escuchamos música y hasta compartimos unas cervecitas. Fue muy acertada esta salida familiar, pues la necesitábamos para relajarnos y tomar fuerzas para seguir adelante con todos nuestros proyectos.
Estar junto a mi familia en un ambiente tranquilo es muy reparador para mí. En estos días he necesitado mucho de la cercanía de los míos porque la vida a veces te hace pasar por momentos no tan lindos que solo la unidad y alegría familiar te hacen superarlos. Es importante saber que los tienes ahí al alcance de la mano y que puedes disfrutar lindos momentos.
We spent a long time by the sea, until the sun began to decline, creating some very nice shades, enjoying these beautiful views. This beach has a large expanse of sand and is surrounded by beautiful palm trees, it is a very nice contrast to appreciate. Having this day was very important for me, it was refreshing.
Estuvimos mucho rato junto al mar, hasta que el sol comenzó a declinar, creando unos matices muy bonitos, disfrutando mucho esas lindas vistas. Esta playa tiene una gran extensión de arena y la rodean lindas palmeras, es un contraste muy bonito de apreciar. Tener este día fue muy importante para mi, fue reparador.
We came back and puppy was coming with his head out of the car, we could see the city with the shades of the sunset. We stopped by a coffee shop and bought pizzas that we ate when we arrived. It was a nice day of relaxation and togetherness.
Regresamos y pupy venia con la cabeza fuera del auto, se vehia hacercarse la ciudad con los matices del atardecer. Pasamos por una cafetería y compramos pizzas que comimos al llegar. Fue un lindo día de esparcimiento y unión.
