Hello Splinterlands Summoners! This week's battle mage secrets is Heavy Hitters. In this ruleset, Monsters do double damage when attacking an enemy that is stunned.
For this battle the rules are:
Heavy Hitters - Does double damage when attacking an enemy that is stunned.
Available Splinters: Fire, Water, Earth, Light and Dragon
Maximum of 18 mana.
This is a low mana battle. Fortunately I have just the right Splinter for the ruleset and the amount of mana. As in last week's Battle Mage Secrets, I choose Earth again.
To fully take advantage of the ruleset, I have two monsters with the Stun ability.
Hill Giant in the tank position. At only 3 Mana, it deals 2 Melee damage and has 7 Hearts. It also has stun which is needed in this ruleset.
Iza the Fanged in the fourth position. Costing only 4 Mana, it deals 2 Ranged damage is pretty fast with 4 speed. It has the Sneak the ability to hit the enemy backline. It also has the Scavenger ability which gives it more life for each unit that dies. More importantly it has the Stun ability to take advantage of the ruleset.
The rest of the team are as follows:
Queen Mycelia is almost my key card in the Earth team. It provides shield to the team and deals 2 Magic damage with Obsidian as summoner. It also has Triage which works perfectly with Mycelic Slipspawn in some situations.
Spirith Hoarder to complete the 18 Mana requirement. It also deals 2 Magic damage with Obsidian summoner. It also has Blind, Triage and Dispel.
Finally I have a zero mana card in the back to protect against sneakers and this card has done his job well. It caught some sneak attacks that saved Iza the Fanged.
Unfortunately I was paired with a low level opponent so it was not much of a challenge and my team won easily.
