Hello Splinterlands Summoners! Welcome to another edition of Social Media Challenge.

New Reward Cards

Exciting times ahead for Splinterlands players as new reward cards will be available from the Glint Shop on 15th August. The new reward cards are based on the Rebellion set and will have the same borders. I have seen some of these in twitter/X as they have been shared by some ambassadors. Here are my favorites:

Night Reaper shared by Taravision.x

An epic card of the Dragon Splinter. It's a tank with magic damage with four abilities. This is card will be a great addition to my deck. The only disadvantage is the high mana requirement of 11. This will only be used in high mana battles.

Ujurak Elder shared by Yonikar

A neutral card that deals magic damage. This is a card that will be easy to slot in as it only requires 3 mana. It only deals 1 magic damage but has some insane support abilities.

Warborn Chieftain shared by The People's Guild

A legendary card in the Earth Splinter. This card looks overpowered with six abilities!. It's a tank that deals 4 melee damage and has good speed. It doesn't have a shield but it has skills to compensate for the lack of shield. It also stuns and weakens the opponent tank. It seems power creep is now coming to Splinterlands as old cards will be overpowered by new ones.

A rare tank in the Fire Splinter. The design looks like it should be in the Water Splinter but there has to be a backstory why this is in the Fire Splinter. It deals 4 melee damage and has decent shield and health for a tank. It's very fast too with 4 speed. Its abilities are sick too having both Thorns and Retaliate which is a nightmare to the opponent's melee units.

Endless Gibbon shared by Untamed Sarge

A legendary Water card. It's stats are decent but not as powerful as the others. What makes this card great is it only requires 1 mana which is easy to slot in and very useful in low mana battles.

Thunderhoof Nomad shared by Ank

A rare Earth card. It's design seems to be related to Kronn the Undying. I'd like to see the backstory behind this card. It deals 2 magic damage so it will be a great fit in a magic Earth deck. It also has Triage and two other abilities which puts it on par with Spirit Hoarder, a legendary card.

Conclusion

I'm excited for the new reward cards and have been saving my Glints to buy these when they become available. These cards are a welcome addition to my deck and will elevate my gameplay and enjoyment of the game. I really appreciate the Splinterlands team for continously improving the game and make it more fun for old and new players.
