There's nothing quite like a refreshing snack to beat the heat. While some individuals might go for ice-creams, parfaits, fruits and the likes, others could opt for tapioca - a popular snack in my city.
Tapioca is a staple snack made from cassava, and it's both tasty, nutritious and refreshing. Tapioca can be paired with either fried groundnuts, palm kernel or even coconut, whichever is your preferred choice, you're sure to enjoy the tasty goodness in every munch. I can bet on that. Lol.
Moreover, it's energizing since it's made from cassava, which is a great source of carbohydrates. Little wonder it's a go to option for many, old and young alike.
This photo shows a street vendor graciously serving her numerous customers with plates of refreshing tapioca. Her strategic location which is near the Ekeoha market (Shopping center), Aba entrance makes it easy for people to stop and grab a plate or more, whether they're heading into the market or coming out.
After capturing her on camera, I stood for a while to observe her and I was impressed with her service. Her dedication to her business is evident in the way she presented her product, enticing passersby to stop and sample her delicious plate of tapioca and groundnut or coconut.
So if you happen to find yourself around Ekeoha market (Shopping center), Aba, do well to stop by the tapioca vendor spot to treat yourself with a plate of refreshing tapioca. I bet you'll love it. 😅
