Still on my holiday in the village series, I had stepped into the backyard one afternoon to grab something, but what came next was a moment of confusion mixed with surprise - I'd forgotten what I'd come to do.

I stood, momentarily lost in thought as why this would happen. It was as if what I came to pick has flown away with the wind! I'm sure some of you can relate with this happening. Hehehe.

While still in my moment of confusion, the sun's rays captured my attention, casting intricate shadows on the trees and plants.
"Well, it's not all bad, I could still make do with capturing some shadows", I said to myself, chuckling.

So I hurried back inside for my phone. Moments later, phone in hand, I began a leisurely stroll around the house, capturing the shadows casted on the various tree plants - guava, palm tree, and all.

The impromptu stroll kinda turned into a hunt, with the shadows leading me on a merry chase. Hehehe. By the time I'd circled the house, I'd collected a couple of captivating shots, each one with their unique story to tell.

And here they are:

A guava tree, the red specie. And oh, there was a caught. Lol.

Same guava tree, shot in another angle.

A hybrid palm tree, already producing fruits.

Another guava tree, the white specie - super sweet.

Confluence of shadows - pawpaw, plantain, palm tree and the gate. Hehehe.

Another hybrid palm tree, pruned for good yield.

Guava tree climbing the wall. Has a kind of eerie feeling to it. 😂

Perhaps, you're wondering if I later remembered what I'd initially came to do at the backyard. Well, that'd be story for another day. Hehehe. For now, enjoy the shadow photos.
