Hello, welcome to June, my birth month! 🥰. I hope the month remains pleasant with you.
Some days ago, I woke up to a cold morning. There was a heavy downpour in the wee hours of the morning, and it left with it traces of freshness and coolness in the air. Not only that, the sky looked gray, a sign that more downpours were imminent. And the cloud wasn't left behind. It was producing rumbling sounds as the thunderstorms brewed.
As if on cue, the voice of the radio host boomed, reporting an 80% chance of rain that morning, with clear visible thunderstorms, thereby confirming my earlier observation.
I had planned on tending my garden that morning and nothing was going to stand in the way, not even the rain, lol. So I got my implements and quickly made my way to my garden.
As I stepped into my garden, I was greeted by this captivating sight - rain droplets clinging to the cocoyam leaves, as if their lives depended on it. Lol.
I made to shake them away but the way each of the droplets glittered like crystal, showcasing the beauty of nature made me stop in my tracks. I stood, gazing at how the droplets sparkled, making the cocoyam leaves look fresh and verdant as ever.
In that moment, I wanted nothing more than to capture this beautiful sparkling droplets on camera. Fortunately I came along with my phone so I went to work, clicking away and capturing several shots of them.

I also captured some close-up shots of the rain droplets, each one like a delicate mirror reflecting the world above it.

As I clicked away, I felt the gentle hands of the cold air caressing my face with the freshness of the morning rain. It was refreshing and my face lit up with warm smiles. With happiness etched on my face, I felt grateful to have spent another moment in nature.
Away from the water droplets, I got down to the business of tending to my garden. After that, I harvested some peppers. So fresh. 🥰
