Night photography can be tough sometimes. Most especially in a highly illuminated environment like on a busy road. You’ve got oncoming headlights, street lights everywhere, and all.

When they hit your lens, they overpower everything else and your shot ends up looking washed out or messy.

I was heading home at night. I thought, let me try to capture some photos. It was a struggle to get some clear shots due to too much light exposure. But some turned out good.

In a Keke tricycle.

I got to my bus stop, Obikabia junction and captured these ones.

A food vendor spot.

He sells foods from rice to pasta, salad, moi moi and more. I believe his food tastes good because he enjoys a lot of patronage. You can see customers already coming around.

A Suya spot.

Suya is Nigerian street BBQ — thin beef slices, coated in spicy peanut seasoning, grilled on skewers over charcoal, with onion, cabbage and fresh pepper as accompaniment. That's a complete suya package! The aroma hits you even before you take a bite. Lol.

A phone accessories vendor.

He sells everything from phone pouches/covers, batteries, chargers to cables, screen protectors, earphones, power banks — anything you need to use or protect your phone. His mobile stall is fully stocked. That's a hustler there. 👍

This post is for Night Photography Round 4.
