Today was another wet day. The rain started early - in the wee hours of the morning, and refused to let up till noon. Grey sky, wet road, and... cold. You know that kind of cold that makes you pull your shoulders in, that's it.

I managed to get to the office and settled in for the days grind. During break, I went to the Flour materials market, along Market road, to grab a few things.

While waiting my turn, I spotted these guys with their stock balanced on their heads. As they moved, they made a kind of call-out sound, attracting the attention of people. Their action perfectly depicted this popular slang "carry your market for head." Lol.

These mobile vendors have ecome a popular trend here. These vendors no longer wait for customers to come meet them at their clusters at Ngwá Road market, rather, they take their collections to the streets, to the people right at their doorsteps, under the sun or in the rain. Talk about aggressive marketing, this is it.

Honestly, these guys always showcase beautiful sample wears,
completely locally made. I heard that the clothes are quite affordable. I quickly took some shots before they moved farther away.

Honestly, these guys are doing great and I commend this move. Anyhow, the bags must be filled.

And that's a wrap. Do you see this where you live - vendors carrying mannequins with clothes on their heads?p.
