Okra flowers are underrated. People always post the fruit, neglecting the flowers. They forgot that without the flowers, we won't get any okra. Lol.
So I planted okra in my small garden, right in the front yard, and they've been doing so well. I actually get to pick okra every other day. And I use them to make soup. Fresh from the garden to the pot. Yummy. Lol.
A couple of days ago, I went to pick okra, and seeing how the okra flowers filled the garden, brightening the whole place like sunshine, I just smiled. This is my farm.
In that moment, I forgot about picking okra. I just stood there, admiring the beauty before me. No rush. Lol.
More often than not, we rush through our days chasing one thing, and miss the beauty that's right in front of us. And it could be anywhere.
Nature’s beauty is free. All you have to do is to slow down and look around. You'd be amazed by what you'd find.
Well, I had my phone with me as usual, so I took pictures of the okra flowers in macro. And here's how it turned out.

After that, I went ahead to pick okra. And you know what? I didn't only pick okra, I picked joy too, thanks to my garden.
And that's a wrap. What small beauty have you found today?
