Hi everyone welcome back to another battle mage secret weekly challenge post so after playing 22 battles I got the noxious flame rule battle. It was tough to find the battle but thankfully I get it otherwise it would be not possible to create a Splinterlands challenge post today.
This is exactly what happened previous times and that is why I did not made the weekly challenge post the previous week. This battle was not easy but used good cards according to the needs of the battle ruleset. So let me share my strategy and I hope that you benefit from this information if you own the same cards as me.
Battle Rules
This was 53 mana cap battle. Fire, life, and dragon splinters were inactive and water, death, and earth were available.
- Tis But Scratches: this ruleset is important because It enables the cripple ability for every single monster including the opponent. You don't need to edit your team for this ruleset you can take your favorite monsters.
- Noxious Fumes: this is the featured ruleset of this challenge. all the monsters get damaged because of this ruleset. In this, you can take the card with cleanse ability
My Battle Line Up
First Position: I have taken the kraken here because this is the most powerful monster in the water splinter team. It is necessary to take a strong card at first also there was a noxious fume ruleset so it is a must to take the strongest monster at first.
Second Position: Kelp initiate is the monster that protected the kraken. This particular monster has only two mana but it has cleanse ability which is most important in noxious fumes ruleset.
Third Position: Djinn Oshannus is used as third because this is another strong monster with magic attack, void, phase, and forcefield abilities.
Fourth Position: Ruler of the seas is used at fourth and this is a monster with blast, swiftness, and silence abilities. It has good magic attacks and speed.
Fifth Position: Phantom of the abyss is here and it is known for its high damage and high speed. This is a magic attack monster and also t has flying, demoralize, and flying abilities.
Sixth Position: This monster was important to heal the kraken monster. I supported that monster with cleanse ability and tank heal so that it could survive longer and that happened too and you can confirm that in the battle.
The Battle
Round 1 - Opponent lost venari marksrat by the kraken's attack.
Round 2 - Opponent lost fungus finger by poison attack.
*Opponent lost terraceous hulk by djinn oshannus' attack.
*Opponent lost goblin psychic by ruler of the seas' blast.
Round 3 - I lost crustacean king by poison.
*I lost ruler of the seas by poison.
Round 4 - Opponent lost quora towershead by phantom of the abyss' attack.
