Hello, guys welcome back to my splinterlands social media challenge post yesterday I checked ranked battle because I was not checked yesterday because I was busy but after checking the new features I can say that the ranked battle experience has entirely changed and we can see the final update is live. Last season I collected 69+ loot chests and was almost near to reaching the Champions League that was a great moment for me because after a very long time I reached the Champions League since splinterlands launched I was used to ranking up to the Champion League after that time I have never seen the face of Champions League but finally the dream came true in the previous season.
So that was a great experience for me. I have provided detailed information in my previous social media post regarding the glint token this is a new reward token for the sprinterlands and I will not be surprised if there are no sps in the reward in the near future because now glint is here so soon we will see that sps will be removed from the reward pool and this is needed because without this thing it is difficult to increase the price of sps. it is difficult but not impossible.
Regarding the current Glint update finally, it is live and there are mixed opinions from the players I think it is too early to judge this new update we have to wait for it we have to experience it first then we can give our opinion regarding this new update. Splinterlands development is important so for that we have to work for it and players have to collaborate and cooperate with the team. So after this update, there will be no more focus loot chests and season and loot chests and instead of these things you will get glint.
So what is the use case of glint so there is a newly introduced reward shop where you can spend your glint to buy lots of things in Spliterlands so glint is valuable for sure but is it better than the previous system? Only time will tell. Along with this there are major small changes and leaderboard removal is another major change. now leaderboard is only available for the Champion League players. One more thing is if you have the skill of playing and if you have updated cards then you will have a chance to reach Upwards in the league so I think this is a good thing but we do have not a full experience of it but after one season we will see reviews from the users and then we will understand the outcome of this new update.
In the above screenshot, you can check the new shop there are 12 things that you can buy while spending Glint. One good thing I can see here that earlier it was depended on the reward which cards you will get in reward but now it is up to you whether you want to buy a reward card or not.
