One of the best breakfasts I love is fried plantains paired with spicy pepper sauce and creamy pap and it was exactly what I was craving for, and since I had leftover plantains it seemed perfect.
It seems like a simple dish, but it's really nice delicious and filling. I love how easy it is to make this breakfast and it feels like such a treat having made it for myself.

Let me walk you through how I made it!

Below are the few ingredients I used:

  • 4 ripe plantains

  • 2 cooking spoon vegetable oil

  • 1 medium size onions

  • 1 table spoon dry pepper (ground)

  • A small mold of pap

  • 1 table spoon soy bean flour

  • 1 table spoon sugar

So first step I took tk make this was get my plantains ready wash, peel and cut them to the desired shape

I then rub them properly with salt. Next I put the vegetable oil to heat in a pan and added some plantains to it to fry

While at it, I chopped my onions and blended it

Soon I was done frying all the plantains and put them in sieve to drain.

After frying it was time to make the sauce. So I added the pepper to the onions, a pinch of salt and then 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil from the frying and the sauce. Then it was ready!

Next I put water to boil, I mixed the pap in a stainless bowl with a little water to turn it into a paste

When the water is boiled I poured it in the pap till it thickens

So I added the soy flour and sugar to the pap and it was ready
