I decided to try out something that came to my mind to prepare, I had yam and a few other ingredients that was left from the last meal I made. So I decided to make something nice while I followed my instinct. I plucked some scent leaves from the little garden, and got the ingredients I wanted to make the meal with ready.

It turned out really nice, spicy and satisfying. Here I'll show you how I prepared it. And below are a few ingredients I used:

Ingredients

  • Half a tubes of yam
  • 2 onion balls
  • 3 fresh tomatoes
  • 6 chili pepper
  • 1 cooking spoon vegetable oil
  • Scent leave 1 handful
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger and garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon Black pepper

Procedure

Cut the yam into my desired shape and set it aside

I put water to heat, sliced some scent leaves and put into the water, then added salt to it. Next I put the already diced and washed yam inside it

While the yam was boiling, I diced the onions, tomatoes and blended the chili pepper and set them aside

After a few minutes I checked if the yam was soft enough then I sieved out the water

Next I put the pan to heat and poured in the vegetable oil, then sauteed the onions, tomatoes and chili pepper. I also added the salt and ginger/garlic powder to it

I added a little water to it, then added the boiled yam to it and stirred properly

Next I added the black pepper and remaining scent leaves to it and also stirred

I covered the post for a little while and it was done!

As I said earlier , it turned out really nice and I enjoyed it so much. It was simple, spicy, and packed with flavor. This meal was proof that sometimes, to follow your instinct in the kitchen can lead to something unexpectedly delicious. I'm glad I was able to make this. Would you try this type of food?

Hehe, thank y'all for your time here, I hope you enjoyed the process too like I did. See you next time!
