What’s up Splinterlands players!

I hope all of you are doing well in your life and also enjoying this fascinating NFT game in your free time daily and progressing your stats and cards. For those who play splinterlands on a daily basis like me, I guess all of you are pretty busy at the moment with the ranked season end because only 8 hours left for this ongoing ranked season to meet its end! I have been playing this game for years and I used to see so much traffic come in the game during these last days and most of the player base gets active and tries their best to perform a bit more before the season gets reset. For me, I am doing the same as well and after taking a straight 1 day rest from the game, I am back again into playing with a full energy bar and wish to be battling the whole day and enjoy the season end bloodbath.

As for my progress in this ongoing season, I am currently playing in the Diamond League and will try to move up into the Champ League in these last hours. I had rented a 260k SPS delegation on my account which is still remaining so I will try to optimise my SPS earnings until it expires. I am currently battling at the top tier of Diamond League with the current trophy rating count of 3,420 and luckily, I have my energy bar almost full so I can enjoy playing for a while before it goes down to zero, and if I still get any energy left, I will be buying energies with my Glint tokens to play even more. Now, Let’s see how that goes and also, wish you all a very happy season end.

Now moving on, let me now come towards the main topic of this post as today, I will be talking about my favourite Weapon Training ability card in this game and as you have already seen him in the thumbnail above, today I will be talking about MOXIAN REBEL, the smallest mana cost monster that comes with Weapon graining ability and carries a potential to turn the tables upside down in a match. So, without making any more delay, let us start.

MOXIAN REBEL

Moxian Rebel is one of the latest cards in the game that was released and launched with the latest Rebellion edition card set and soon after its release, it didn't take much time to win hearts in the game and make a worthy place for himself. This monster belongs to the Neutral edition, so if it is allowed by the ruleset, you can choose this card with any element cards and create great combos. This card costs only 4 mana to be used in battles so you can easily fit this monster in your lineup while playing small to medium mana ranged battles and also in the matches with Little Leagues ruleset. It is a rare type of card and needs a total of 115 BCX cards to be upgraded to the max level. The attack type of this card is magic and apart from having decent attack and speed stats and a good armour + health combo stat, it also carries 2 amazing abilities which I will be talking about later in this post. Now, let us take a further look into these card's league-wise stats and abilities below.

BRONZE

At level 2, this card possesses 1 magic attack at 1 speed with 1 armour and 2 health and it also gets the Weapon Training ability since its initial level. With the Weapon Training ability, it can give reduced attack stats (max up to 3) to its adjacent cards if they are attack less. So in certain matches, it becomes very beneficial to use this card with other attack-less cards to give them attack power while enjoying their other benefits.

SILVER

When this monster gets upgraded to level 4, it gets 1 magic attack at 1 speed with 1 armour and 3 health and at this level, it also receives another new ability called camouflage. With this new ability, no one can attack this card if this card is not at the front position, only the enemy cards with scattershot ability have a chance to actually touch this card but other than that, it is untouchable as long as it is not in front position.

GOLD

When this card reaches level 6, its stats get increased further and it gets 1 magic attack at 3 speed with 2 armour and 4 health along with those 2 abilities that I mentioned above.

DIAMOND / CHAMPION

When you finally upgrade this card to level 8, this card gets an increased 2 magic attacks ( that it receives from level 7 ) at 3 speed with 1 armour and 5 health and also those 2 existing abilities but no new abilities even at its max level. But who needs anything more for a 4 mana cost when you already have weapon training, right?

BATTLE STAT

Because of its high utility, the price of this card has refused to fall since its launch and I also spent decent money to buy a level 7 for me just to unlock its 2 magic attack which is very important if you are playing in the Diamond or Champ leagues. Anyway, this time I found a high 54 mana limit match with 4 elements available - Scattershot, Equal Health and Little Leagues. The last ruleset suddenly changes the whole match strategy as though I have a massive 54 mana to use, I can only use max 4 mana cost monsters in this match, so I started building my strategy accordingly.

LINEUP BUILDING

After thinking quickly, I finally decided to go with the Chaos Earth summoner Obsidian and used Clockwork Aide at my front followed by Moxian Rebel, Lurking Puffer, Fungus Flinger, Doctor Blight and Djinn Biljka at the end position of my lineup. As both the lineups got revealed, I found out that my opponent had chosen the Water summoner Kelya Frendul and at his front, he selected the Pelacor Bandit followed by Tide Biter, River Nymph, Angelic Mandarin, Kulu Swimhunter and Doctor Blight at the end position.

MATCH PERFORMANCE

As the match started, monsters on both sides started attacking aimlessly random monsters and glad that I chose all my attackers as magic as now I didn't have to deal with the armours anymore, though my Clockwork had taken away armours already from the enemy gang. I was also lucky to apply poison on enemy Blight in the very first round while my puffer got poisoned as well. My Rebel got saved from a big range blow from the enemy Kulu but got saved thanks to its decent Armour. Then My fungus unexpectedly took down the enemy Doctor followed by enemy Tide Biter and then my Biljka took down the Nymph and by here, 3 cards were down on the opponent side while all of my monsters were still alive. Anyway, I took care of the rest of the 3 enemy monsters in round 3 and thus, I won another amazing ranked match and scored some SPS and Glint tokens as rewards and once again, the Moxian Rebel has proven its true worth in this battle today!

I hope you lived reading my battle post and also enjoyed watching the battle that I shared above. Do you also use Rebel, if yes then what’s your experience? Let me know in the comment section below and I will be seeing you all in my next post.

Wish you all good luck on all of your future Splinterlands matches.
