En esta oportunidad quiero compartir un llaverito que realicé de un personaje de serie infantil, se trata de Jake el perro amarillo de hora de aventura, quizás muchos de nosotros vimos está serie. Este perrito muy conocido y divertido que tiene poderes, puede estirarse y acomodar su cuerpo de diferentes formas.

This time, I’d like to share a small keychain I made featuring a character from a children's series: Jake, the yellow dog from Adventure Time—a show many of us likely watched. He is a well-known, fun-loving dog with powers; he can stretch and shape his body in all sorts of ways.

Así que lo realicé en forma de llavero utilizando limpiapipas, les enseño el proceso por si quieren realizarlo a sus hermanos, hijos, sobrinos, amigos, en fin, o hasta te lo puedes quedar jajaja como un recuerdo de la infancia.

So, I made it into a keychain using pipe cleaners. I’m sharing the process in case you want to make one for your siblings, children, nieces and nephews, or friends—or, hey, you could even keep it for yourself, haha, as a childhood memento.

Tijera, silicón	Scissors, silicone glue

Paso a paso / Step by step

Vamos a tomar el algodón lo vamos a enrollar con el adhesivo blanco, debe quedar un poco alargado y relleno, con un limpiapipas amarillo vamos a cubrir los laterales para luego comenzar a pegar el resto del material.

We are going to take the cotton and roll it up using white adhesive; it should end up somewhat elongated and plump. Then, we will cover the sides with a yellow pipe cleaner before we start attaching the rest of the materials.

No importa si tienes un limpiapipas amarillo claro, más adelante le daremos un toque de intensidad con ayuda de sombra de ojos, voy a formar un círculo pequeño en la parte superior, de allí vamos a continuar cubriendo con mucho cuidado.

It doesn't matter if you have a light yellow pipe cleaner; we’ll add a touch of intensity later using eyeshadow. I’m going to form a small circle at the top, and from there, we’ll continue covering it very carefully.

Ya que nos quede quedar lo más alineado posible, continuamos hasta cubrir la totalidad de la figura, con ayuda de los dedos vamos a dar esa forma características que tiene.

Bien, para los brazos y piernas, estas deben ser largas ambas, cortamos el limpiapipas y colocamos la punta en un palito, allí enrollamos hasta formar especie de circulo. Esto para brazos y piernas.

Once we have everything aligned as well as possible, we continue until the entire figure is covered; using our fingers, we shape it to give it its characteristic look.

Now, for the arms and legs—both of which need to be long—we cut the pipe cleaner and place the tip against a small stick, then wrap it around to form a sort of circle. We do this for both the arms and the legs.

Con el encendedor vamos a rebajar un poco la pelusa para que nos quede más delgado, pegamos las cuatro piezas, en la parte del brazo realizamos un dobles, ahora viene la parte de la carita.

Using the lighter, we’ll singe off some of the fuzz to make it thinner; then we glue the four pieces together and make a fold on the arm section—now comes the part for the little face.

Con limpiapipas amarillo realicé la nariz y en el centro un punto negro, también realicé dos círculos medianos con limpiapipas negro y dos de color blanco. Esto lo vamos a pegar sobre la figura, pero antes vamos a dar ese tono amarillo intenso con ayuda de las sombras.

I made the nose using a yellow pipe cleaner, adding a black dot in the center; I also created two medium-sized circles with black pipe cleaners and two with white ones. We will glue these onto the figure, but first, we’ll add that intense yellow tone using shading.

Realizamos las orejas y luego pegamos los detalles de la cara, para finalizar puedes rebajar un poco la pelusa del limpiapipas de la parte del cuerpo, a mi parecer le da mejor acabado. We make the ears and then attach the facial details; for the finishing touch, you can trim the fuzz on the pipe cleaner used for the body—in my opinion, it gives it a neater look. And that’s it!
