Les cuento que ya se acerca la defensa del trabajo especial de grado, y estoy feliz y a la vez nerviosa, una de las cosas que decidí con tiempo es buscar la vestimenta para ese día, en conjunto con mi compañera buscamos varias opciones y la verdad yo muy indecisa y la mayoría de las veces tengo que caminar mucho para encontrar alguna prenda con la que me sienta cómoda.
I’d like to share that the defense of my final degree project is coming up; I’m feeling both happy and nervous. One thing I decided to take care of well in advance was finding an outfit for the day. My classmate and I looked at several options, but I’m quite indecisive—and usually, I have to walk around a lot before I can find a piece of clothing that I actually feel comfortable in.
Decidimos utilizar pantalón color crema o beige y camisa azul, y la verdad tuve que caminar mucho ya que la mayoría no me gustaban o notaba que no eran para la ocasión, pero si pude encontrar después de tanto, al igual que pantalón y zapatos, necesitaba algo cómodo pero que a la vez fuese lindo. Por otra parte si encontré algo adaptado al presupuesto, para estos días se vienen varios gastos y hay que organizarse.
We decided on cream or beige trousers and a blue shirt. I actually had to do quite a bit of searching, as most of the options I saw either weren't to my taste or didn't seem quite right for the occasion. Eventually, though—after a lot of looking—I managed to find what I needed, including trousers and shoes; I wanted something that was both comfortable and attractive. I also managed to find items that fit my budget; there are several expenses coming up, so it’s important to stay organized.

I also stopped by the "castle"—in the haberdashery section, there are some little boxes that are perfect for the arrangements we’re going to make. I saw beautiful flowers, ideal for decorating, and among so many other things, I was able to get a clear idea of what I want to create. That’s how I spent my day, walking around the city center with my mother, who always supports me—plus, I didn’t want to go alone!
