I think by now it's pretty obvious that I love taking mirror selfies. Haha. I can't help it! Sometimes I'm getting ready, I look in the mirror, and I suddenly feel like taking a few pictures before leaving the house. 📸💕
This time I decided to wear my black and white checkered blouse with black shorts and sandals. Nothing too complicated, but I really liked how everything looked together.
I've had a thing for checkered clothes for a while now. I think they're cute, especially when the outfit is simple and doesn't need too many accessories. And I love how this blouse ties at the front. It's one of those little details that makes an ordinary outfit look a bit different.
I also decided to wear my hair down. Sometimes I spend forever trying to make it look perfect, and other times I just brush it, leave it alone, and hope for the best. 😂
The funny thing about this picture is that the lighting wasn't helping me at all. There was so much light coming through the window that half the room looked bright and the other half looked dark. I still took the picture anyway because I liked my outfit.
I actually have so many pictures like this on my phone. Some are blurry, some have terrible lighting, and in others I'm making the weirdest faces. But I never seem to delete all of them.
I guess I just enjoy keeping little memories of myself, even when nothing particularly exciting is happening.
And honestly, not every picture needs to be taken somewhere beautiful. Sometimes my bedroom mirror is enough. It's familiar, it's comfortable, and I can take as many pictures as I want without feeling embarrassed. 🙈
I love dressing up for special occasions, but I also enjoy these casual looks. A cute blouse, my favorite shorts, comfortable sandals, and I'm ready to go.
Nothing fancy today, just another outfit I liked and another selfie for my collection.
At this point, my mirror probably knows all my favorite poses. 😂🖤
