If it were possible, like if there was ever a thing like picking out the traits of my children, I would want my children to inherit my ability to keep pushing even when the road ahead is blurred, rough and full of potholes. Also, I would want them to experience more ease and peace which I most times manage to find.
I want them to have that stubborn kind of hope that refuses to die, even when life feels like it will do its worst and hit them hard, I want them to keep their faith strong and never yield to the voice that would ask them to surrender. I would want them to be very strong, but also I would wish for a more simple and calm world for them, a world where they won't need to fight to be seen or heard, a world where hard work would be seen not a partial one like the one I am experiencing.
The truth is, I am with emulating, smiles, and if my children should come into this world carrying trait, trust me, they would do well, they would shine, but I would wish them better balance. I want them to be so strong yet soft, very brave but kind, I would want them to be truthful, honest, respectful, intelligent and very confident. I would want them to be so gifted, such that they will be a able to profer solutions to problems for their generations. I would want them to have laughter that can melt sadness away, the kind that remembers that no matter how hard or tough life gets, joy must never be surrendered.
I would want them to be sincere, to be understanding, to feel for others. I would want them to be the kind of people who feel the pain of others without letting the weight crush them. I would want them to be the curious yet patient type.
Also, I would want them to be very healthy, AA as their genotype, I would make sure there's nothing like inherited suffering or ailments. I would want them to have good smooth skin, with normal heights, all beautiful and handsome prince and princess. I want them to possess what would make th stand out in any gathering.
Also, I would want them to be more humane, I believe so much in the phrase...Humanity before religion, I want them to know GOD but not become so religious, humanity comes first, they shouldn't be bias, they shouldn't discriminate, I would want them to help, to feel for others, to have the spirit of giving and rendering assistance to anyone in need.
Also, I would want their spirit to be free, I want them to dream beyond borders, I want them to love freely without fear, I would want them to stand in a crowd and not be swallowed, to walk into a room and not need to shrink. I would want them to be very courageous and confident, I would want them to be the kind of people who make others breathe easier just by being there. I want them to be the one's that comes with answers, brings solutions, I want them to be stubborn in their goodness, unshaken in their kindness and untouchable in their dreams.
If GOD give me the chance to kneel and pick the pieces that would become my children, I would make sure to tske my time to pick carefully. Also, I would want them to love and be loved, because to me, I believe love would be the best trait of all, to feel loved and be loved just as they are.
