Looking at this prompt is making me want to think deep on what to write on this prompt and got me thinking of days of this legend we all know which is prof. Wole Soyinka we all know is history how he was been tested more than 9 times before he passed the course is not that is dulled but prove a point that what he wrote is actually right now it leading to this topic.
Now depending on the topics should the use of phones be allowed? That is during the exams, test or classes, i found that bizarre first of all school is a place we came to learn and increase our mental capacity and knowledge in all academics to know how to deal with real life situations such as how to communicate, how to do a proper business without being cheated, how to survive and do what needed do at the right time.
Secondly phone is a distraction which we all know we been linked up with several things in phone such as social media, and much more normally with phone we can learn or sort of things there to help us grow but when it comes to academics session is a NO! To me why phone is a thing of pleasure and also a thing of destruction.
If we are allowed to use phone during academics section in classes, test or exams them tell me why does academics existed in the first place if AI could gives us the knowledge of everything i don’t think there is a reason for us to attend school the first place.
For example if am been given a test and if my phone is allowed to use i don’t need to study to increase my brain i just use phone to solve the answer put quickly.
The use of phone is certainly a bad idea on the long run it will make it hard for student to study and know the reson why they are being sent to school in the first place if they believe everything can be solve thorough the phone why even need to read at the first place i can just use my phone to solve it.
Academic is meant to increase your knowledge, bring in new idea and create some contributions or gains to your own personal self and the society.
While AI is a tool to help you further more your understanding regarding the topics you are having difficulty in understanding.
Exam and test is a test of knowledge and understanding as per what you been taught so far how do you understand it teach us in your own understanding.
We students we easily get the mixed up of these and tends to think is a one way ticket out of school have easily seen student using the help of AI at the long run when they graduated they cant even defend what they have been thought at school to the outside world.
Let imagine me learning English Language i graduated with first class by the use of AI and got a job at a company and i cant even speak a proper English we get the picture clearly is waste of time in academics.
OR
I graduated as an Accountant student by the use of AI i got a job offer at an accounting firm i cant even do some balancing of ICAN.
In conclusion Is a bad idea to allow students to use phone during classes, test or Exam the effort the teacher are putting into teaching us is like we wasting it and it makes us feel lazy if being allowed to use it.
