My day two experience in Survival mode fair no better than my first day. Here I was just barely getting into Bronze II and then hit a road block. One that cost me to lose some very important cards in my collection.
Proof is here from snapshot above. I am not ready to play in Survival and even if I had good cards I can still lose. How I am going to approach this in a positive way is likely to now look at renting out my cards for DEC income.
As of now the rentals are all season rentals instead of daily. The cost per a day will drop but overall cost per season will require more initial equity investment. This shifts the value of the cards to higher values and I can see it in my collection alone.
I can see the rise in my rentals with demand rising from demand increase. I may likely now focus on renting out cards with this new demand. Will it be worth it? I can say playing in Survival is not profitable for me personally. I may have a decent collection of cards but I prefer certainty in my gains versus skills. Meanwhile adding DEC and building on equity to later purchase more cards and get complete card sets to better compete is now my plan.
It will not be straight forward even if I start renting more to earn more as the prices of cards continue to rise. Chaos set is what I am aiming for first, but at the price appreciation it will be a juggling act to buy cards while remaining positive on my DEC liquidity.
The dropping of DEC in circulation and the rising price of DEC is not helping either. Land 1.75 is hyping demand while players also hoarding DEC for the upcoming Conclave set of cards. I know I keep repeating this over and over again but this is all I am thinking about when it comes to Splinterlands. How can I extract more assets and continue to stay competitive. Exciting times ahead indeed.
