Dia Martes. Y cuando al disciplina pueden mas que las ganas, asi me paso hoy, mi esposo estaba indispuesto, entonces etro el dilema si iba o no a entrenar. Me levante a la hora habitual, prepare un delicioso cafecito, y aun sin arreglarme me decĂ­a voy o no a entrenar, bueno me dije, que gano si no voy, nada, gano mas si voy, y me voy a sentir bien conmigo, porque cuando no cumplo con un entrenamiento, lo que siento no me gusta, asi que me dije, vĂĄmonos, y aun a tiempo, me arregle y me fui a entrenar. Hoy en dia esta amaneciendo mas temprano, esto es a favor de los que salimos temprano a entrenar ya que hay mas visibilidad. Llegue al estadio y me agradeci no haberme quedado en casa. Hoy el estadio estaba solita para mi, me sentir super bien, y se que el lugar tambien estaba feliz de que estuviera alli, porque todo estaba perfecto, es como si me esperaran.

I got up at the usual time, made myself a delicious cup of coffee, and even before getting ready, I kept asking myself whether I should go to training or not. Well, I told myself, what do I gain if I don’t go? Nothing. I gain more if I go, and I’ll feel good about myself, because when I skip a workout, I don’t like how I feel. So I told myself, “Let’s go,” and just in time, I got ready and headed out to train. These days, it’s getting light earlier, which is great for those of us who go out early to train since there’s better visibility. I arrived at the stadium and was glad I hadn’t stayed home. Today the stadium was all mine; I felt great, and I know the place was happy I was there too, because everything was perfect—it was as if they were waiting for me.

Los martes son de intervalos, necesario para seguir avanzando, muy importante entrenar en diferentes zonas, ritmos. Para hoy tenia planteado realizar 5 series de 800 mts, con unos metros de calentamiento y enfriamiento, pero tuve un problema con la programacion del entrenamiento en el reloj, y solo realice tres de 800mts, y bueno tambien por razones de tiempo, corte asi el entrenamiento, mi esposo se sentia mal y querĂ­a volver a casa a ver como seguia, ya que aun dormĂ­a cuando sali. Las series realizadas se mantuvieron en la zona estimada para este entrenamiento zona 4 y 5.

Tuesdays are for interval training, which is essential for continuing to make progress; it’s very important to train at different intensities and paces. For today, I had planned to do 5 sets of 800 meters, with a few meters of warm-up and cool-down, but I had a problem with the workout program on my watch, so I only did three 800-meter sets. Also, due to time constraints, I cut the workout short—my husband wasn’t feeling well and wanted to go home to see how he was doing, since he was still asleep when I left. The sets I did stayed within the target zones for this workout: zones 4 and 5.
