Good morning Lion’s it’s another start to the week and the crypto currency market is well bleh but that doesn’t mean there aren’t new an exciting things happening right here on Hive and boy was the latest announcement about InLeo Community Battles an exciting one! Although I am yet to participate in one yet which I will be soon. There is no reason why you shouldn’t!

The exciting announcement is aimed at fostering greater engagement and rewarding active participation. INLEO has announced the launch of its first Community War and Battles. This initiative is designed to bring together various communities on the platform and encouraging friendly competition and increased activity while distributing LEO POWER to more curators. Here’s a closer look at how the Community Battles work and what participants can expect.

Friendly Competition

The Community War and Battles are structured to incentivize daily participation and collaboration among communities on INLEO. By engaging in these contests communities can boost their visibility, earn rewards and strengthen their ties with other groups on the platform.

How To Join

Any community interested in participating in the Community Battles can reach out to the INLEO team to express their interest. Due to the complexity of tracking data via SQL for these contests, participation is currently limited and communities must sign up in advance. For those not included in the initial list, community leaders are encouraged to contact INLEO to be considered for future battles.

Battle and War Structure

The Community Battles are weekly contests that run from Monday morning to Saturday night (UTC). During these battles, communities compete based on four key criteria:

Total Number of Threads: This includes threads and replies within the community’s designated hashtag.

Total Number of Upvotes: Upvotes on threads and thread replies within the community’s hashtag are counted.

Total Number of Posts: Long-form posts within the community are measured.
Total Number of Comments: Comments on long-form posts within the community are tallied.
At the end of each week, the community with the highest metrics across these categories wins the weekly battle.

The Community Wars span an entire month, from the 1st to the last day. Points are awarded based on weekly battle victories and successful onboarding of new users through community referral codes. The community with the most points at the end of the month wins the monthly war.

Winning Strategies

To excel in the Community Battles and Wars communities are advised to focus on maximizing their weekly battle wins while also striving to onboard new external users. This dual approach ensures a steady accumulation of points, enhancing the community's chances of winning the monthly war.

Prizes and Rewards
INLEO.io has set up an attractive rewards system to motivate communities and individuals:

Monthly (War) Prizes:

Winning Community: The winning community’s current LEO POWER delegation from the INLEO team will be doubled for the next 30 days. For example, a community with a 100k LEO POWER delegation will see it increase to 200k. If a community wins multiple months in a row, this delegation will compound.

Community MVP: Each month, communities can nominate one member as the MVP through a poll. The MVP will receive one free month of premium membership and a 10,000 LEO POWER delegation for one month.
Weekly (Battle) Prizes:

Points: The winning community earns 250 points towards the monthly war.
LEO POWER Delegation: The winning community receives a 25k LEO POWER delegation.
MVP Nomination: One community member can be nominated for one free month of premium membership through a poll.

Ensuring Fair Play

The INLEO team is committed to maintaining the integrity of the Community Battles and Wars. Any attempts to manipulate the competition through spam or other unethical practices will result in disqualification at the team’s discretion. Additionally, the rules and points system may be adjusted as the competition evolves to ensure fairness and engagement.
