In the world of Education, lives the teachers who guides in knowledge to guarantee success and students whose excellence outcome not only depend on the teachers but also on their own efforts. To a good extent, there is also the parents of these students who guides at home and the Government who ensures good educational system for educators and students.

Faulting one set of character in all of this? It won't work that way but yeah, the teachers definitely have a big role to play just as the others have their own big roles to play.

Just as we have technicians, designers, doctors and other professions who are not so good with their job, we shouldn't miss it that there are also teachers who are not good at their job. Acknowledging that fact should help think of ways to train teachers so they can be better at their jobs than blaming them when students go rogue.

Being a student before and a serving teacher at the moment, I've come across different kinds of teachers and students, the good and bad, the professionals and the novice or bad at teaching. It's not news that some people in the education sector are there for the pays like every other jobs and some are there for the love of it.

Let's also consider the fact that all students learn at different speed and efforts, it may be the fault of the teacher not to recognize that for her students in this aspect but then, only those who love their jobs as teachers want to do the extra and sadly, this is affecting the education system as there are some students who ends up doing poorly because they are forced to be like every other kids in how they study or learn.

In all this, should we really be finding who to fault or consider giving effective solutions to balance the responsibility on each set of characters in this aspect of the world (education)? I'll suggest solutions!

The teachers have a big role to play in the education system, teach and making sure the students are carried along in their teaching but will students get it if the teachers are not so grounded in what they teach? This calls for the Government and school heads intervention. What I'll give to recommend solution for this issue is,

  • Empowering educators.

It's only wise that teachers be given the right orientation of what their jobs require of them more than just teaching. Provide training and workshop for teachers, pair experienced teachers with newer teachers and the act of rewarding outstanding teachers regarding their performance, all these are good enough boost for them to want to be better at their jobs.

Organizing collaborative events like Teacher-Parent-Children conferences, inter-school events and even inviting other professionals from different sector of life will not only build a stronger environment for the teachers but also boost the morale of students to learn better.

Of course, these are the responsibilities of the government and school heads in anyway they can get it done. After all, it's for the leaders of tomorrow ultimately.

There would be no one to blame if teachers have the right orientation of their jobs, parents are aware of what they need to do at home, students know why they need or are being educated and the Government are very much involved in the process of creating great leaders of tomorrow.

Well, isn't this where all the fault lies? Only a few are doing the job for real. So if I am to conclude, everyone involved in the educational system is to be faulted when a child performs poorly in school.
