Every person with a friend must have experienced this before. Having a huge smile on your face when you see an old friend who you made a lot of memories with in the past. Trying to sleep and smiling to an old incident you had with a friend. Being recommended by a friend for what you wouldn't have gotten without him or her.

There are times we are down and feeling tired, just a call from someone we hold close or love brings our mood back to a hundred percent. That's the power of having friends and it can never be overstated how much we can do when we have friends compared to what we can do without friends. Of course, there is always a limit.

In everything about life, moderation is always something I believe in and appreciate so much if it is maintained. For relationship with people, I believe there is the time to have people around and there is time to be alone. In both times, I believe every person should be happy if they want to be. Happiness shouldn't be dependent.

It shouldn't but a lot of factors contribute to what makes us happy, while some happiness is instant and for a moment, there are happiness that last longer and have more impact in our future actions. Relying on friends to decide our long term happiness is a wrong and unwise move even though it's possible to have such friends.

I've seen, read and experience countless friendship to ever think that there are not those who make people in the relationship happy. But to answer my title, I think it's safer to say the joy of friendship is nice to have, I believe everyone loves something nice so there is need to create and build good friendships wherever we find us.

Happiness is a fleeting emotion that other incidents can take away within an instant, it's why I think anyone can make anyone happy and it's difficult to find someone who would make another happy all the other days of their lives. It's why I think one's happiness shouldn't be dependent on the kind of friendships they have.

Personally, I find the things that make me happy without needing another person but I won't deny that the joy of my family and the few friends who I bond with from time to time also make me happy a lot of times. Can I say my happiness is dependent on the friends I have? Then I'd be so sad by now because it's been a while we bonded.

I don't think our happiness are dependent on our friendship but it's an objective point as I think there are people who rely on their friends to stay happy, I know of one actually. It's quite scary to rely on human for what will make you feel good but somehow, we do in one way or the other but moderation is what I always stand for and that's what I try to do in my own personal relationships.
