I just saw a video of a young man making fun of what the president's wife had said about starting a business. I've seen countless videos of the update but one thing is consistent, people are making cruise of what seem to be a serious matter but I won't say it's wrong to laugh it off.

I just think one of the problems we are facing in the world today (our country, especially) is we are choosing survival over actually living. We were raised to think that causing little harm to another so we could survive and have more is okay. We were not taught how to actually live life and love.

Yes, I do think the solution to our problems today is not more money, more infrastructures or more opportunities. As a matter of fact, a lot will still go wrong when all that are put in place if we don't heal our hearts of the wrong ideas and beliefs we've grown up with. It will take love to do that.

One young guy I listened to, preaching said something powerful and I'll share it here because I think it is what the world needs most importantly for everything else to fall in place in our societies. What he said was "We keep saying "Be you! But the world is filled with "being us", how about more of Jesus? Let's be like Christ!"

As sad as it is, a lot of us have slowly neglected the part where Christ said we should be like him because He knows how evil and selfish the hearts of man is. If we would keep relying on our human hearts, we will keep experiencing evil and selfish experiences because that's human for us.

Having more money is great! We need to have more to help more people around, providing more infrastructures and opportunities is amazing! We would have people putting in efforts to build something for themselves that will in turn help people and the society be much more developed.

But if the hearts of man continues to be wicked, selfish and people keep promoting these things, the problems will remain. But sadly, this is impossible because it's part of man's decision from beginning of time by disobeying God. Man is born of few days but filled with many troubles.

We just keep hoping and praying that more people will see the need to be more like Christ, filled with love than just being humans, being selfish and ungrateful. That's what I can say is the solution to the problems we are facing today.
