Everything on mes.fm stays free: 100+ calculators, tools, simulators, math tutorials and articles. But ads pay the bills, and some people find them annoying. So now there is a Hive way to switch them off:
MES Premium: no ads for 1 HBD a month
Go to mes.fm/premium, log in with Hive Keychain and pay 1 HBD a month to the MES account. That browser then shows mes.fm with no ads at all:
- No banners, no sidebar or bottom ads, no pop-up "auto ads"
- Google's ad script isn't even downloaded, so pages load faster
- No account, no email, no password: Keychain just signs a message to prove the Hive account is yours (your keys never leave Keychain)
- Crypto only: no card processor, no bank, nothing to cancel by phone
- Checked on the chain: mes.fm reads the public Hive blockchain to see what you paid, nothing about you is stored on our server
Two ways to pay:
- Subscribe: a Hive recurrent transfer of 1 HBD every 30 days (for 6, 12 or 24 months). Cancel any time on the page or in your wallet.
- Pay once: 1, 3, 6 or 12 months up front with a normal transfer (memo
mes.fm ad-free). Each HBD adds 31 days.
Already paid from another computer? Log in on the new browser with the same Hive account and press "Check my payment".
Other Hive features on mes.fm
Premium isn't the only place where mes.fm and Hive work together:
- Hive comments on mirror pages: the 9/11, Hutchison Effect, science, conspiracy and Math Q/A pages that mirror my Hive posts have a "Hive comments" tab in the Comments box. It shows the replies from the original Hive post (threaded, with votes and payouts), and you can reply, comment and upvote right there with Keychain.
- MES Polls: make a poll and publish it as a Hive post in PeakD's Hive Open Polls format, so people vote with their Hive accounts and the results are counted from the chain. You can also make normal link polls with no login.
- Copy Text: a clipboard shelf for text you copy often. Its "Hive backup" saves your boards to the Hive blockchain (encrypted to your own memo key by default), so you can restore them on any computer.
- Share Launcher: paste a post once and get ready-made text for ~33 social sites, including Hive frontends.
Why HBD?
It's dollar-pegged, has fast free transfers, and recurrent transfers are built into Hive itself, so no third party sits in the middle. If you don't have HBD yet, you can convert HIVE to HBD in your wallet (PeakD, Ecency or Keychain) or earn it from posts.
Thanks to everyone who supports MES, whether by paying, sharing, commenting or just using the tools!
MES Note: The text was generated with Claude AI with my input and review.
