Women cut their hair for so many reasons, some because of their health, some do so because of work,some do because they want to and some do even because they want to save money. Whatever the reason may be, it's always a tough decision to make.
"The beauty of a woman is in her hair" I think this is true, but I also feel that you can also look beautiful with or without your hair.
Some women cut their own hair not mainly to save money but because they find fun in doing it. Have you ever done it yourself? How did it turn out? Would you do it again?
Well, this girl here did hahaha. Here's how it all happened.I think it was one of the most painful and tough decisions I made in a long time.
I used to have very long and thick hair, but all of a sudden my hair started breaking for no good reason and My hairline looked like it was shaved with a razor blade hahaha. I felt very sad because I knew the only solution was to cut my hair so new ones Would grow out.
I kinda have a big head so I knew a low cut would look a little weird on me, but I was shocked at how nice it looked.
About a year ago, After moving to another state, I decided to take a bold step and cut my hair.
I was in the toilet, staring at my long hair in the mirror, with the scissors in my hand, I had a second thought of not doing it.
I held the scissors up and cut off a big part of my hair. In that moment I felt like I had just made the worst decision of my life and there was no way of going back on this one.
It was either I cut everything off or carry a weird hair walking around the street hahaha...
My sister was so angry with me when I told her I cut my hair. Well, I was even more sad, because I wouldn't be able to make some beautiful and fancy braids.
After cutting my hair, I started seeing so many beautiful styles on my feed on IG. I was so pained you guys.......
I'm glad that I cut my hair because I could breathe. The pain that comes with braiding your hair is a topic for another day. Also, I could finally pour water on my head whenever I wanted, the relief was just unexplainable.
I do get compliments from strangers all the time,telling me my hair looks very beautiful.

My hair has grown a bit longer, but since I'm keeping my natural hair, it looks like it's not growing, but it is.
You know our African hair is curly and bouncy, and it shrinks a lot.
Right now, I don't regret cutting my hair at all, I'm actually happy I did 🤗. I don't think I'd want to cut my hair again even tho I look good on low cut.
