So, this season I managed to reach Champion II with a similar 4220 ranking, but I got 144717 Glint, less than the previous season. Instead of the previous options, not there are only minor, major and ultimate chest, and the individual cards. I do not want titles or other extras, just some merits at the end to get some Gladiator cards. Let's see how can we use them to improve my collection!
I will start with 2 batches of ultimate chests, to see if I got better than the 2 legendary cards. The results?
Error on Hive, but for what I see, I got 1 Epic, 5600 Merits, 7 Energy
Second batch ultimate chests:
26 cards (9 Rare, 4 Common gold, 13 regular Common), 10 Energy, 2700 Merits and some potions. The ultimate chests are not worth the effort.
Lets try some Major chests, to see if I am lucky:
Batch 1 is a joke, no cards, 3600 Merits and some potions.
Batches 2-3-4 and 5 marginaly better, for the price of 1 Legendary, or 5 Epics, this time I got 8 Energy, 31 cards (1 Gold Rare, 3 Gold Common, 27 regular Common) and like 7600 Merits. I will have some cool Gladiators cards at the end, I hope.
Now I try my luck at the Minor chests, with 100 of them, I will just post the best ones from here, as they are 10 print screens:
1 Regular Gold, 27 Common, 6 Rare, 1 Epic, 3 Energy and 3000Merits, so probably this is the best return on 10K Glint, if 1 Epic is 5K Glint.
So, Legendary cards, bought one:
Epics, bought 3:
And with my last Glint, I got common cards, as I still need to get 4 of them to max level.
I managed to get the War Pegasus to max level, gaining Demoralize (decrease -1Melee Attack), so all my Rare reward cards are now max level.
Also, 1 common card, Dumacke Orc, gaining 4 Melee Attack at max level, ideal for Equalizer, so only 2 Common left to get to max level, and all the Epics and Legendaries. So, obviously, this season I will focus on buying only the Epic and Legendary cards.
And finally, the long avaited moment, I managed to buy 17 packs of Gladiator, with the Merits accumulated in the past season. Do I feel lucky?
At a quick glance, 2 Gold Common, 3 Epics (2 of them Quora, so now I got level 3 and Immunity, getting it ready for Poison Ruleset), and the rest Rare and Common, 100 cards in total.
The only thing to calculate is to see how much Glint I get back from the 25 Energy that I gained from the chests.
In conclusion, the best way is to buy individual cards for now, and minor and common chests, to make up for the numbers, along with 3-4 batches of Merits, if you can afford it. 10K and 25K for all the 100 Minor and 25 Major chests are a good source of both Merits and potions, but I find the Ultimate chest not worth the Glint value. At least for my level.
