Hello gaming community, I hope you are all well. For quite some time now, I have not been able to log into Splinterlands regularly due to a lot of work pressure and a busy schedule. Those who play the game regularly know that the feeling of returning to your favourite game after a few days is always great and exciting. Today, I got some time and logged into the game and thought that I would use the merits that I have accumulated over a long time to buy some packs from the guild store.

After entering the game, I first went to the guild store. I saw that I had a pretty good amount of merits accumulated in my account. The merits that can be earned by playing guild brawl in Splinterlands can be used to buy some special items from the guild shop. I decided to buy some Gladius cases and booster stones to increase their power.

First, I spent 8,000 Merits to buy 4 Gladius cases. Each pack costs 2,000 Merits. As you know, the cards from these packs are 'soulbound', which cannot be sold or traded, but they are very powerful for winning games in guild brawls or special rules.

I didn't stop at just buying the pack; I also bought the necessary boost items with some more Merits to improve the quality of the cards:

  1. Blood Stone: I bought 20 charges for 1,080 Merits (with a 10% guild discount). Using this stone doubles the chance of getting legendary cards.

  2. Power Stone: I also bought 20 charges for 1,440 Merits. This stone doubles the chance of getting Gold Foil cards.

After completing all the preparations, the exciting moment came—pack opening!

Pack 1:
I opened the first pack and saw some great rare cards. This pack gave me:

  • Captain Katie - This is a great rare card.
  • Orella Abadon - Rare card.
  • Alfredo - Rare card.
  • There were also common cards like Hustling Damon and Crash Wonderford. The first pack was pretty good.

Pack 2:
I opened the second pack and got 3 rares and 2 common cards:

  • Relenor Cleaver - Rare water element.
  • Ajax Lightfoot - Rare card.
  • Hugo Strongsword - This is a powerful metal-type card.
  • Katrelba Gobson - This common card is very effective in Brawl.
  • Helmet Kharafax.

Pack 3:
The third pack opening was also fairly good:

  • Kotriphus Bayne - Rare Death Splinter card.

  • Ajax Lightfoot - Another Rare card.

  • It came with some useful common cards like Alva the Crusher, Hugo Strongsword and Yzgald Vorst.

Pack 4 (The best surprise of all!):
The last pack, the fourth, was a real eye-opener! I got the real benefit of using Blood Stone and Power Stone in this pack.
As soon as I opened the pack, a surprising Legendary card and a Gold Foil card appeared!

  • Xulax Nightwind: This was a powerful Legendary card! This 9 mana card is capable of destroying any opponent in Guild Brawl.
  • Witch of Warwick: The most interesting thing is that this card came in Gold Foil form! Which is not only attractive to look at, but also very effective in increasing deck power.
Also, this last pack included Kotriphas Bane, Yzgald Vorst, and Histling Demon.

Opening a pack that was back in the game after a long time really made me feel good. Buying 4 packs with 8,000 merits and getting a Legendary and a shiny Gold Foil is a matter of luck. These new cards will greatly enhance my gameplay and Guild Brawl performance.

I'm ending my pack opening experience here today. For those of you who play Splinterlands, please comment on how your recent pack opening luck is going. We'll talk about any new updates or battles in the future. Stay well, everyone!
