Hello Hive

I'm happy to finally scream out a loooooooonnnnngggggg Merry Christmas to everyone on Hive. Jesus is the reason for the season, and in every situation we find ourselves, our gratitude should not cease.
My younger brother has been sick and hospitalized for the past month. We have been running to save his life. It is a bit sad that I didn't have enough to meet up with the financial demands for the hospital bill and had to resort to unstaking my Hive power to help save my brother.
We were working on the farm on the 30th of November harvesting beans when he came down with fever and severe headaches. That eventually got us to the hospital, where several tests were conducted on him to reveal several other complications we cannot disclose yet.

I haven't had anything prepared for Christmas as we are not happy about the current conditions. Knowing that we would be spending Christmas at the hospital, we didn't bother about anything else.
But a fairer news came in yesterday as the doctors permitted us to take my brother home to rest for the festive season under close watch.
I was so happy that at least we will get to have some family meals together. Just yesterday, after completing my task at home, my sis was not happy about not getting a new dress for Christmas.
I pleased her to try and be understanding of our current situation and that after everything I will get her as many dresses as she desires. Lucky for her, one of our uncles gifted her 5k naira towards the evening after we borrowed his car to bring my brother home from the hospital.
That was her lucky moment; I won't deprive her of her cash gift; instead, I chose to transform it into a dress for her.

The fabric store close to the house was still open at 5 pm. I rushed down and got her this pretty fabric.
Since the outfit wouldn't have a lining, it was an easy sew.

I started with cutting the front and back block using an overlap design for the back.
Then the sleeves

And it was time for stitching the clothes.
I also got a zipper and fixed it to her dress.

That was done, and the outfit was ready.
Anas is happy to get a new dress, and I am more than happy that we get to have a peaceful Christmas with my baby brother at home. Against all odds we are also sharing in the joy of Christmas.

This is pretty 😍 😍 😍
