Hello Beautiful people

It's a happy day and I have got good news but the news would have been more perfect if I got some of my hive friends to share in my harvest of the day. I hope that @marylove @bimpcy or any other hivers closer to my residence can come for a share of the portion of our beans harvest.

Our beans grains are now processed and been bagged for storage. I am so excited about this harvest particularly because this is currently one of the most expensive staple in town. A 1.2kg of this grain is sold for $2.5 currently.

It is one of the easiest proteinous staples we can cook although it was cheap in the past and the first line of staples proteins that family around here often go for, the price of this grains just shoot up out of nowhere forcing families for look for other sources of proteins. We utilize beans for a lot of different delicacies making it very useful and unavoidable

Know you know why I am filled with so much joy that we have this much beans at our disposal. We are of course going to share a few measure of the beans for families and friends before we seal up the rest.

All the stress we went through to grow this often vanishes when it is time for rest and to reap/eat the fruits of our labour. Most especially because it is cost saving and we have a supply of protein that will last us a while

After going through several places in search for machine to help us peel the beans we didn't get. I felt really bad that we had to go through the stress of manual pounding of the beans.

We poured it into bags and we have the older men beat the beans with stick.

That was done and we had to sort everything blowing the chaff out against the wind.

And we have the beans partly cleaned here. Good enough for storage because we have to protect it against insecticides in storage.

We got almost a 100kg bag of the beans and was hoping to get more but had earlier had animals eat up a portion of the farm .

Having gathered so much experience this year I hope to go on a massive agricultural adventure next year to grow larger portions of various grains, who know if I can feed more people. I have a vision to someday become a large scale farmer that can probably feed a nation hahah๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜†, thats a big dream.

Today we are all at home and would get as much rest as we need.
