Today I'm going to talk about Doctor Blight, a card in Splinterlands that seems weak but is incredible in battles. Now let's learn more about this card.

Doctor Blight is a Promo card that belongs to the neutral deck. Its mana cost is 4 and it has a magic attack. As I mentioned before, Doctor Blight doesn't seem like an incredible card to have in battles because it has little attack, little attack speed and little health. But that's not a problem because what makes Doctor Blight special are its abilities.

The abilities that Doctor Blight has are: Affliction, Camouflage, Poison, Scavenger and Weaken.

The Affliction ability gives Doctor Blight a 50% chance of applying Afflicted to the monster it attacks. Monsters with Afflicted cannot heal themselves or receive any healing during the battle.

The Camouflage ability makes Doctor Blight a target for attacks only when he is in first position, with the exception of monsters that have the Scattershot ability.

The Poison ability makes Doctor Blight have a 50% chance of applying Poisoned to the monster he attacks, monsters with Poisoned receive 2 damage at the start of each round.

The Scavenger ability makes Doctor Blight receive +1 life whenever a monster is defeated in battle, whether it is an ally or an enemy monster.

The Weaken ability makes Doctor Blight decrease the life of all enemy monsters by -1 while he is in battle.

The combination of the Camouflage and Scavenger abilities is what makes Doctor Blight powerful because he can greatly increase his life before he becomes a target of attacks. It is common for Doctor Blight to reach 10+ life in my battles and for a card that only costs 4 mana, that is a lot. In addition, the Weaken, Poison and Affliction abilities are also very useful in battles.

This battle is an example of why Doctor Blight is a great choice. In it, he can reach 10+ life and becomes one of my main defenses at the end of the battle, which is why I was able to emerge victorious in it. Doctor Blight also caused a lot of damage with the Poison ability and the Weaken ability was very useful in making it easier for my opponent's monsters to be defeated.
