Walk from Cabudare to the Sarare Hospital [ENG/ESP]

Today, once again, I find myself in this community where I feel very at home; last Wednesday I was unable to contribute anything to this community due to the passing of my beloved mother. However, here I am again, in the midst of my grief, yet trusting in God’s strength. Today, my daughter was on call at the hospital in Sarare, which is fairly close to the city of Cabudare where I live—about a 40-minute drive away.

My daughter is currently doing her clinical rotations at the local health center, and she’s almost finished with her internship. She invited me to go with her and her boyfriend to the hospital, since she was feeling a little sleepy and didn’t want to drive alone—she was afraid she might fall asleep at the wheel.

The drive from Cabudare to the hospital took 40 minutes in our private car. Along the way, I took in the scenery—the road was lined with lush vegetation, and the sky was quite clear, so I could see clouds that were both bright and beautiful.

When driving along the Cabudare-Portuguesa Highway, you can see the Lara Metropolitan Stadium (located in Cabudare) from the highway. It recently hosted the second leg of the 2026 Copa Sudamericana playoffs. It has also hosted various Deportivo Lara soccer matches and games featuring the national team. It’s a very beautiful and massive stadium.

I was also able to see various residential developments, which are very beautiful and incredibly colorful—they really catch your eye from a distance. I also noticed several shopping centers in the La Piedad area of the Palavecino municipality. The Palavecino municipality has grown quite a bit, with its residential developments now extending almost to the Simón Planas (Sarare) municipality.

Along the road, there are also a few houses belonging to local residents, who have few memories of the past, as their main activities are growing corn and farming in general.

So I was able to enjoy a lovely walk surrounded by lush greenery; it felt like I was in the middle of a forest.

Paseo desde Cabudare hasta el hospital de Sarare

Hoy una vez mas me encuentro en esta comunidad d la cual me siento muy a gusto; el miércoles pasado no pude traerle nada a esta comunidad por motivo de la muerte de mi querida madre, sin embargo a qui estoy nuevamente en medio del dolor, pero confiando en la fortaleza de Dios. Hoy mi hija le correspondió estar de guardia en el hospital de Sarare, este queda un poco cercano a la ciudad de Cabudare donde residuo, a unos 40 minutos en carro.

Mi hija se encuentra haciendo sus ruralitas en el respectivo centro de salud, ya casi que termina su pasantías. Ella me invito a que la acompañara conjuntamente con su novio al respectivo hospital, ya que se sentía con un poco de sueño, por lo que no quería irse manejando sola, ya que tenia miedo que se quedara dormida.

Durante el trayecto desde Cabudare hasta el referido hospital, tarde 40 minutos en nuestro coche particular. durante el recorrido contemple todo el camino, el cual contaba con un camino lleno de vegetación, un cielo bastante despejado, por lo que observe nubes muy claras y hermosas a la vez.

Al pasar por la autopista cabudare portuguesa se observa desde l autopista el estadio metropolitano de Lara (ubicado en Cabudare), este albergó recientemente el partido de vuelta de los playoffs de la Copa Sudamericana 2026. Asimismo, ha sido sede de diferentes partidos de futbol del Deportivo Lara y encuentros de la selección nacional. es un estadio muy lindo y super gigante.

También pude contemplar diferentes urbanismos, los cuales son muy lindos con un colorido increíble que de lejos llama la atención, así mismo observe varios centros comerciales que están por el sector la piedad del municipio Palavecino. El municipio Palavecino se ha poblado bastante, llegando sus urbanismos casi que al municipio simón planas (sarare).

Así mismo por la vía también se encuentran algunas casas de los pobladores de la zona, quienes son de pocos recuerdos, ya que actividad principal es la siembra de maíz y la agricultura en general.

Así que pude disfrutar de un lindo paseo lleno de vegetación, parecía que estuviese en medio de un bosque.
