This old photo takes me back to the time ten years ago, when I was living in Iran. It was a sunny day when me and my girlfriend decided to go sightseeing and explore one of the ancient quarters in Tehran named Oudlajan. We were hoping to see some of the most ancient homes through our camera lens.

Yet, we forgot that museums and old houses are closed on weekends.

After we reached.Modarres House, we were disappointed to know that it was closed. As we were about to leave, one of the staff members said that he is always excited to see people who are passionate about architecture, so he let us take pictures from the house.

This is how this photo was captured.

It is a great feeling to know that this old photo is part of my memories ten years after.

Iranian ancient quarter Oudlajan is located in Tehran and is one of the most historical places in Iran, which preserves many ancient alleys and Qajar-era buildings.

Have you ever faced such a situation where your plans did not work out but you ended up with something more meaningful and special than you expected?
