Today, unfortunately, Iran is not available for visiting due to war conditions.

I sincerely hope that the Iranian government, which is completely different from the Iranian people, will change soon and the Iranian people will be free, and it will be safe for tourists to visit Iran.

The Iranian people are extremely friendly and welcoming, and there is a vast amount of things to do and see there. In fact, you might need about half a year to explore all the most popular places and attractions in Iran!

Iran is a country with a rich history, and traditional bazaars and markets used to play a significant role in the country’s cities. Many of the historical marketplaces were modernized or ruined throughout the years, but in Old Tehran, the bazaar complex was beautifully restored several years ago.

Today, in Tehran, one of the most beautiful passages of the old bazaar is called Oudlajan Marketplace (Bazaar-e Oudlajan). The Oudlajan bazaar passage has been reconstructed and restored and is now one of the most beautiful places in Tehran. In fact, I recommend visiting it if you are ever going to Iran.

In this reconstructed historical place, you can find many traditional handicraft shops. By the way, in Old Tehran Bazaar, there is a reconstructed ancient bank building that has been turned into a traditional restaurant. The locals call this dish Abgoosht (Dizi) and it is cooked in an ancient clay pot, and you will surely enjoy this delightful traditional food.

I edited these photos using the software I am currently developing, and I will be releasing a demo version for you to download very soon!
