Each city has its own character and old cities have a much more defined character. I highly recommend visiting Belgrade, walking down the streets gives you a feeling like you're walking through history. This is definitely something you can feel in Belgrade, you can see the character in the buildings, windows and flower pots on the windowsills. This city also has amazing churches with some incredible European and semi gothic architecture.

It is interesting to note that the churches in Novi Sad (the city nearby) had beautiful gothic architecture (everything was very sharp, tall and straight), whereas the architecture in Belgrade was a little more soft and mixed. Every time I look at these photos I feel like I'm transported back there and get a lovely dose of nostalgia.

Gothic architecture is very sharp and tall which was historically used to create a piece of architecture with a meaning. Architects and master builders wanted to make people look up to the sky. The pointed arches, vaulted ceilings and tall spires were all designed to evenly distribute the weight of the building but also create an impressive structure that looks up to the sky.

I have edited this series of photos using my very own software. When doing fine art edits you need specific settings. I have tried to make the advanced settings easy to use so that anyone can easily edit their photos.

I will be uploading the demo version of this software very soon which includes all the features! Be sure to follow me to try it out!
