Travelling around Southeast Asia and seeing that practically everywhere you go, especially in large countries like Indonesia is the motorcycle
I remember taking a walk around Jakarta to look for some photography opportunities while I was visiting the city, the people on foot were a small minority.
Maybe the local government promotes cheap motorbikes as a means of transport and that results in a very high percentage of people using them instead of other vehicles in comparison to other countries.
One thing that has always amazed me was how many children you could see riding motorbikes, something which should have been prohibited but apparently wasn't.
After all, they crave adventure and excitement. However, where are their parents? Probably busy trying to make a living in such a competitive and overpopulated place, leaving their children to fend for themselves as much as possible.
