Sunsets are always breathtaking, no matter what place you are witnessing them. But if they come along historic buildings such as the magnificent structures surrounding the Taj Mahal, and a serene river flowing right behind the complex, creating a breathtaking visual wonder of architecture, water and twilight, it's impossible to not be amazed by the beauty of it all.

We happened to visit the Taj Mahal at the moment when the sun was setting at the horizon, and I had the pleasure of capturing this beauty in the camera during our visit to the complex. It was truly spectacular and mesmerizing!

As much as I wanted to take pictures of this magnificent building at that very moment, I couldn't, since the whole family was still standing in the long queue to get inside the complex to witness the mausoleon up close.
